This is a compact coffee maker that performs well. It heats the water quickly and is quite stylish. A lot simpler than using the traditional stove-top method.

When I got my induction range, I lost the ability to use my brass ibrik at home (sad face). I can’t tell you how excited I was to receive this Electric Turkish Coffee Maker to review.
When I pulled it out of the box, it struck me that it’s basically an electric kettle. It has a separate base, so it is easy to wash. It seemed to work really fast–always a plus.
I will say that the finish on the outside of the pot was rubbed and scratched when it arrived. This looks like a combination packaging/finish issue, so honestly I don’t think the finish is going to hold up long term. Getting past that issue, the pot works well.
The other issue I see is that there was no documentation. Albeit on my stovetop, I’ve been making this type of coffee for years, but it seems like it would be a good idea to at least have the bare minimum documentation about the proper use, a how to, or something.
Still I’d not hesitate to recommend the MIDO BROS. Electric Turkish Coffee Maker!
