The spring part of the plunger isn’t wide enough, with the result that if your french press technique involves building pressure against the grounds in solution, it will bypass and spill out onto your counter.

The stainless steel parts of the lid and knob are backed with white plastic and i guarantee water can get in there.

Doesn”t sit flat on the counter. Wobbles a bit.
