   This coffee maker is Amazing!!! So first off I’ve bought 2 other keurigs before. This one definitely takes the cake. It’s so fancy you can even change the background color. You can also select the temperature of your coffee which is awesome because I don’t have a lot of time in the morning I don’t have to wait for my coffee to cool down I can have it cool already. You can also choose if you want it strong or not. The water reservoir is also pretty big so that’s nice you don’t have to refill it everyday. I honestly can’t tell the difference of the taste with the water filter but I’m sure it’s helping. It does take a little bit longer to preheat than the older model we had but that’s not a big deal since you can set the time it turns on. I really like that you can choose the size of your cup and also you can program different settings for up to 6 people. I’ve had this coffee maker for about a month now and I’ve had no issues with it at all. Will let you know if we encounter any problems in the future. This is a great buy definitely recommend.

   May I know what’s the return policy or waranty inclusion for this unit? We bought our Keurig K475 last December 28, 2016 (a little over 8 months only). And our unit has an all blank white display menu as you can see in the picture and we can’t totally use it.

   I received my Keurig as an early Christmas gift after my old one died. All I can say is I LOVE it. It gets quite a workout as I use it a LOT!!! It is an upgrade from my old one. I really like the touch screen, I haven’t yet figured out how to set it to brew automatically but I am working on it. I like that with this one I can still use the generic k-cups as well as the Keurig brand ones and can also still make cocoa or tea if that is what I am wanting. I have seen on some of the others you can not do that or have to hack a way in order to do so. I was originally looking for a blue one but I really like the vintage red and I am glad that is the color I got. Another thing I like is this came with a little device to aid in cleaning the needle, something that was not with my first Keurig. This will absolutely be the most used appliance in my kitchen!!!

   ***Update 5 14 17*** Third machine. I have found that some brands of kcups are more prone to give the needle error message, but all continually dumps tons of grounds in the coffee. Terrible design. Can’t get a refund because originally bought from coffeemakers.us.com and 30 days has past. This thing is going in the garbage. ***Update 4 12 17**** The second machine that Keurig sent has the same problem! Consistently has the needle error. I have their filter in the water tank and cleaned the needle before brewing and it still can’t get a cup of coffee out! Ridiculous! The second one is going back! Will never buy a Keurig again! ****I bought this 4 months ago. We normally brew 3-4 cups per day. I use only triple filtered water and descale every 2 weeks.I repeatedly got the error message that the brew could not be completed. When I got the error message I would use the included mechanism to clean the needle. Over the next few days, it would happen at least two more times. Then it could be ok for a few days. I got fed up with wasting so many kcups I called Keurig directly. They are sending me a new machine & 2 boxes of kcups. I hope it works better than the one I have. I tried 7 kcups this morning and got 1 cup of coffee that brewed all the way through and was not full (1/2 the kcup grounds were in the cup) of coffee grounds. I am giving it 2 stars because when I first got it, it worked great and the company is trying to make it right.

   Display is messed up after only a few months of use. You can’t read anything anymore…don’t know which cup size, can’t select strong coffee, can’t even shut the thing off anymore. What a WASTE of money!

   When the machine works, it is great but the display gets messed up and you can’t see what size you want. I bought it 5 months ago and now the screen is completely blank no mater what I do. I’ve unplugged it but nothing helps. I can’t use it.

    Seriously regret not purchasing this from a local store. Most would have replaced the broken appliance even if it had been 60 days. It was great for the first 30 days…. but now that it can’t be returned it has been acting up. At times it is so loud you can hear it from the other side of the house, sometimes a full cup brews sometimes only have. Keurig is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with, on hold for 30 minutes, and walked through the troubleshooting steps and was told that would fix it. 2 days later it did it again and the LED is messed up. If you buy it make sure you get the extended warranty cause keurig will not be responsive to your request.

    I am adding photos with a mug to convey the size of this mega brewer. I’m editing this to try and help others choose one of the Keureg brewers. Deciding on a model shouldn’t take as much work as choosing a car. This model 475 might be the right one for a family of more than one coffee drinker. I think the descriptions here could be more descriptive and less hyperbolic. Just the facts please. For me, the attraction if Keurig is the reusable k cups. But this model requires the new one (2.0) or one of the universal K Cups to adapt to any model. Why? Because this model and a couple others uses proprietary Keureg pods and k cups that have to be read/scanned by the brewer or the machine won’t brew. And while there are some other brands with 2.0 readable pods the choice is limited. Also negative IMHO is the mug and carafe limitations—very limited choice of Keureg proprietary pods and they do not have a reusable k mug or k carafe filter option. I can see how the large water tank would appeal to families. Single people however just can do without it and save space. And the programable feature (for me) has only one additional attraction over non programmable models — temperature control. That is a star worthy feature. Make hottest for a travel mug, medium for drinking at hone. Beyond that it’s all just bells and whistles. I’m okay with pushing buttons for brew size and type. I was expecting the program to actually brew my first morning mug of coffee to awaken to the aroma. Nope. The auto on setting only starts the heat cycle. You still have to get lift the lid, insert pod, close lid, place mug, choose your brew size etc and then press start. My recommendation is to visit the Keurig website where you will be able to read more about each model and see FAQs about k-cup compatibility with which model and truly conpre features to choose a model that will suit your coffee brewing needs and your kitchen AND utility bill. After buying this monster, I went to the Keurig site and figured out that the model with features most suited to my coffee needs (fast, easy, decent water reservoir and brew features as well as a sleek design that takes up less space than the 475 monster. For me, the best model is the K250 Select Plus. — large enough water reservoir to brew additional cups or mugs without refilling, easier essential program features, and fast brew. I’m optimistic this one will meet my expectations. BTW Keurig if you’re listening—you’re selling a coffee maker. It’s in your best interests to give new customers a better and bigger selection of pods of the 6 that came with mine, only the Newman Organic actually tasted like a decent cup of coffee. The rest were blech. End of edit. Hope this helps someone. One star more than it deserves. I’m so disappointed. I fell for all the ads (and reviews) boasting ease if use and great cup of coffee brewed to your taste. The machine is HUGE! Far bigger than I anticipated. I could deal with the intrusion if it truly made a cup of coffee that justified its enormity. It doesn’t. I tried each of the six sampke pods (including the hot chocolate) and a variety of settings. I even used my own coffee in the reusable kcup (purchased separately). I am a coffee snob. I expect great coffee from a big bear of a machibe like this. I am utterly disappointed and have initiated return.

    We have not even had this coffee maker for 6 months now and it already doesn’t work. Display screen is all messed up. Sometimes nothing at all sometimes pixilated. Can’t return it as returns end 1 month later. So it seems like we are stuck with something we can use 🙁 Very disappointed

    This was a christmas gift for my wife and it eas just what she wanted. It is easy to set up, few parts, intuitive design and best of all, works great. I don’t mind too much having to remove the base where cups sit if they are a bit tall but it would be better if design had contemplated slight larger cups. no big deal. But the Keurig works lake a charm! Picked the red and it looks grat in my kitchen.
