Already been using this French press Coffee for 2 weeks now since it arrived at my doorway. So far I am impressed with its design and having the instruction manual on maintaining it is very helpful. Not only its easy to use, It definitely extract the bean flavor effeciently and effectively. The first thing I just noticed when first use is sometimes it stick when pressing. However using it frequently make it more easier to use. Just take some little time to get used to. I recommend this product for all coffee lovers to give this a try!

I just received my Simpli Press French Press and absolutely LOVE it. I’ve always owned cheaper French presses, but the Simpli Press is an upgrade that makes all the difference in taste and ease. First, the French press itself has a beautiful and sleek design. I was impressed already before I even started making my coffee. The instructions were clear and easy to read. I have never owned a French press with a separate basket for grounds so it was helpful to know how each piece fit together. When I began the brewing process, I was impressed with how easy it was to push the filter into the basket of grounds — this is something my past French press set ups have struggled with. After waiting three minutes for my coffee to brew, I took my first sip and was blown away! I usually like my coffee on the lighter side, which has always compromised flavor in the past. Not with the Simpli Press! This was one of the most flavorful cups of coffee I’ve had it home in awhile. This is all due to the Simpli Press as I was using the same beans I’ve used for years with my previous French press set ups. Finally, I began the clean up process. Though I found there was some resistance as I pulled the silicone cup of grounds up, it was worth it to just dump the grounds and clean the silicone cup. After using the Simpli Press again, I realized that the resistance was due to the fact that I hadn’t fully emptied out the coffee. With my next brew, I pulled the basket up again with ease. Cleaning my French press is one of my least favorite chores, but the Simpli Press made it a breeze. I can’t recommend the the Simpli Press enough! If you are considering it, do it!

I have had three different French presses and this is by far the best. It’s easy to use and you get NO GROUNDS in your cup! There’s also no film! This gives you the strongest cup of coffee for all flavor and more strength! Perfect for travel or at home. The smart basket and filter make this all coffee and no grounds! The rubber stoppers broke this thing. Massive pain to clean. It is really good at separating the grinds but hard to pull the canister out. I ended up breaking mine from the effort it takes to remove the canister.

That basket that holds the grinds and is supposed to make clean up quick and easy? Yeah…toss it aside. It is so hard to get the filter part out of the basket.
On the other hand…what is great about this press is the double filter ultra fine mesh. It allows you to use more finely ground coffee than a regular French press which makes a better tasting cup of coffee. It works just fine without using the basket, I grind my coffee on a medium fine setting.
It takes mere seconds to dump the used grinds into a strainer and then knock it into your trash or compost bin. It took damn near 5 minutes to try to get the basket of used grinds out and made a mess when I finally got the filter loose and out of the basket. So if you want a great tasting cup of coffee, with no residual grinds I. The bottom of your cup, buy this press and throw away that basket. Or use it for weighing your coffee beans.

This provides a much smoother brew than other French presses I’ve tried. I’m not a fan of gritty coffee, and this is the least gritty French brew I’ve had that hasn’t been passed through another coffee filter after brewing! It feels solid and sturdy, and it looks so good it’s a pleasure to leave out on the counter. Hoping it’ll come with different finishes in future, since the polished finish gets smudgy. But overall it looks good and functions well, and makes enough coffee to last me through my day, and I’m very happy with it. Being dishwasher safe is a real bonus. There was a bit of a learning curve to using it optimally; took me 5-6 uses to get it just right.

French press coffee is by far the best way to enjoy fresh, hot coffee and Simpli Press really nailed it with their design. I’ve never had a cup of coffee so silky and deliciously strong! Three rubber seals line the mesh basket press to ensure none of the coffee grounds seep into your cup. It’s easy to take apart, clean, and reassemble. It comes with clear instructions on how to use the French press and maintain it properly. There are clearly marked lines at the bottom of the carafe for your coffee grounds and lines showing where to fill your water. Pour the hot water (not boiling) in and let it brew for 3-4 mins, mixing it a little, and press down the basket while pouring the fresh, hot deliciousness into your favorite mug. It also comes with a spooly type brush to clean tough places, but I find it easier to clean right after using it. The Simpli Press French Press is a must for anyone who appreciates a great cup of coffee! I highly recommend giving this French press a try!

Fail. No suction to pull grounds basket from the empty pot. Just a mess. Last year’s reviews were mostly stellar. Maybe I got a bad unit? Too few moving parts to be operator error (I looked there first). Caffeinated Buzzkill is a bad way to start the day. YMMV.

I did not open this up for a while so I cant return it. It seems well made and I was excited to try it. I have always used French presses, the problem is that it is no where near easy to extract the grounds as they claim, I tried everything but when you pull the plunger out, if it doesn’t extract the cup Grounds get all over, even when the cup does come up it still ends up a mess. Like I say, It seems well made with quality components. It is a shame I waited to request a refund too long. It made a decent cup of coffee, ( most presses do )
it is also a shame I am giving this a negative revue, so now someone at the thrift shop will or will not enjoy it

I also watched a video to see if there were any “French press use secrets” by coffee experts – that was helpful! I needed a French press after I tasted how good a friend’s coffee, made this way, was compared to my old-fashioned coffee pot filter method. I picked this brand because I think it looked really nice and would complement the rest of our newly renovated kitchen. Also, the ease of cleaning factored into our decision, and the helpful videos on the product’s website made me more comfortable in purchasing a French press given that I’ve never operated one before. After unboxing, I can say that it lived up to its advertised aesthetics; it’s a beautiful appliance and will make a good conversation piece when we entertain and serve up some coffee after dinners. We’ve been making daily cups over the last week, and it’s taken a couple days to dial-in the process and the correct ratios to our taste. I have to say that the same beans ground and brewed with this press make a much better tasting cup of coffee than my old drip appliance. It’s hard to explain the difference…it doesn’t taste stronger, but it seems to have more flavor. Lastly, it’s super easy to clean. It comes apart in few pieces that are simple to rinse off. It also seems well made with high quality silicone or rubber parts. Five stars

Makes a great tasting and smooooooth coffee, and great design for the basket and clean-up aspect. I’ve found that letting the coffee/press cool a bit makes the basket easier to “pull out” when lifting up the lid and filter… It’s fun to use too!!
