   I am a big coffee lover, and I have always wanted to make cold brew at home. This cold brew maker is amazing! It is very easy to use, just put in your grinded coffee and room temperature water, then leave it in the fridge overnight. I just tried my first cold brew from this maker and I am very impressed. I used the pack of beans that makes very acid coffee in a French press, and my cold brew turned out to be very smooth and tasty. The design of the bottle is very elegant and it can make up to 6 cups of coffee at a time. The quality is great and the details are nicely finished. It also comes with a coffee powder spoon so it keeps the work clean and neat. One good thing about cold brew is that you can leave it in the fridge for a day without worrying about overbrewing or temperature monitoring. Now we can have nice iced coffee at home any time we want!

   So I went through a lot of different attempts at coldbrewing, with a variety of strainers and batches and and it just wasn’t working. So I was skeptical when I decided to try this one. I’ve had it for more than a month now, and it’ works beautifully. The strainer is not discolored, and easy to clean, and it makes enough cold brew to last me a few days. It even strains fine ground coffee grounds, though I don’t recommend this for flavor reasons. It’s just fantastic, and has saved me a lot of money from buying my coldbrew from the store. Definitely recommend.

   **Updated** After I wrote my initial review, which wasn’t a bad review IMO, the company contacted me to offer to replace this. They did and I got it very quickly. I changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars because of this. I still like it and it works well, makes good coffee. Just a little small for some people. If more than one person drinks cold brew you may need to buy 2.

   I sure liked this while it lasted. It’s easy to use. Not hard to clean. However I was going to put it in the dishwasher, just the glass carafe and I slightly tapped, and I mean slightly tapped, the little pouring spout which isn’t really a spout on a plate and it broke off. Afraid to use it now so will try a different kind. Too bad though because it did make good coffee albeit being kind of small. Trust me the glass feels very fragile. The handle is not very thick either.

   This cold brew coffee maker is easy to use and the coffee tasted great! The fine mesh filter does a really good job of keeping the grinds separate but still able to extract all the flavor. Clean-up is relatively easy, and it makes it so much easier to have coffee on hand now as opposed to having to brew a new pot every day! The only thing about cleaning it is that you have to have a sponge-on-a-stick cleaner to reach all the way down, as the design prevents you from getting your hands in. The glass felt thin at first, but it held up after a couple of bumps so it shouldn’t be a problem for daily use. The lid also does well to keep the coffee fresh, and the instructions say it should stay that way for 2 weeks. This is definitely one of the more stylish items we have, and functional too!

   It does its job but I think it has room for improvement. First off the glass is pretty thin. I don’t really expect it to last very long considering how thin the glass feels. Next, the rubber for the seals is very very thin. I can’t imagine this holding up with regular use very long but we’ll see. Finally, its hard to make it as strong as I’m used to. You can basically fill it with coffee and fill it with water and tomorrow you get a drinkable cold brew. Problem is its not very strong cold brew and there’s not much way to make it stronger without maybe letting it brew at room temperature instead of in the fridge. I’m going to try that next. The mesh filter leaves fine sediment in the brew regardless of how perfect your grounds are so your last cup tastes different than your first cup because of the sediment. I’ll be running it through a paper filter in the end now to get rid of the excess sediment. Its convenient and it does its job. If it were made less dainty and had a larger sieve so I could make a nice strong brew I’d give it more stars.
