   it could have a perfect five if not for the on and off switch, the first one i bought the switch popped out by itself rendering the device unusable. tis is the second one i purchased just to give the benefit of the doubt. if this one will have a similar problem, i think i need a refund.

   This coffee maker is wonderful. Currently being used in my semi truck out on the road. Works well with a 1500 watt power inverter or at home. It is the right size for my limited space. Zojirushi EC-AS60 makes great six cups of coffee and is well made. On a side note you can use paper filter. You may need to trim paper filter to size. Try to use #4 cone filter.
