   It’s not a blender, so I don’t know why it has blending power… But as a French press single serve coffee maker, this is absolutely amazing. It makes my Folgers Black Silk coffee taste like it is much higher end than it really is. I also use Cameron’s vanilla hazelnut coffee in it. The automatic drip coffee is all running around to the perfect size for this unit. Don’t think this is a huge unit, this is perfect size for 12 ounce cup of coffee. If you make the coffee strong and add creamer it is perfect.

   The glass is fine, the plastic holding it on the outside is super flimsy but I can deal with that. But the mech of the part that presses the coffee down is too small for the glass. It doesn’t create a good seal and coffee grounds leak into my drink. I don’t entirely mind a few coffee grounds because they’ll eventually sink to the bottom, but this leakage was about 1/4 the grounds I put in.
   I ended up using my old metal part of my old press. The glass had broke on that one which is why I got this. My old one creates a much better seal

   Well it worked great the first two uses. When I went to use it a third time I noticed that the screen around the plugger part is rusted. So how I can not use it anymore.

   Coffee maker works fine! Will make a full 12oz of coffee. I USE IT EVERYDAY. Use course grind coffee
   Filter is fine enough I have several other brand presses all bigger except one which is a Boudin brand which is a nicer press all stainless filter assembly, but three times the price. The coffee is no different. Great deal. As to one reviewer’s complaint of scalding, you are using too fine a ground. First rule of press coffee, use coursee ground coffee or be very careful.
