   Buy a metal v60 and reusable filter. The case is cute but the glass broke after a week of use. This is one of the fancy ideas dreamed up without real world testing.

   This is such a cute and portable pour-over set. I can see myself using this on trips away, at the office or even when I just need that perfect cup at home. The items stack well and are very portable in its own carry pouch, I will add a piece of cloth to ensure the glass pieces don’t clank and break. Point to note, and by any means not a deal breaker, the hole in the wooden top was a smidge too small for the funnel. I ended up having to widen it a bit to accommodate the funnel. It did slightly damage the finish, but it now fits perfectly snugly for a perfect pour. (See pictures)

   This travel set is very cute and looks pricey and it actually is at its price level at this point in writing. However, my wife and I, both are coffee lovers, thought it could be the perfect size to take along on a trip. After checking it out at home, we’re not sure if that will ever happen. The glass, actually very nice glass and with a decent thickness, seems still just too fragile or vulnerable to make it a good choice for travel or camping. Although the case is fairly sturdy and should protect everything for the most part, the items (cup, glass dripper) need to be handled very carefully. The dripper did not completely fit into the wooden filter stand when we initially got it. To make the funnel fit properly, I needed to use my round hand file tool to slightly expand the hole. Also, I will purchase some paper filters that will fit the dripper. I think over time t will be more appealing and I don’t have to take care of washing the fabric filter which also would speak against having the set with us on a trip where mostly there’s no time to wash and dry the filter. All-in-all, this is a nice set that has a quality feel to it; The carry case looks good, is sturdy, and hold the items in place; for travel purposes the glass is not ideal in my world. At-home use is what I think works best for us.

   So, once I got the coffee ground/water ratio right, and got the water to the right temp before pouring, it makes a pretty good cup of coffee. Size 2 disposable filters work perfect. I did use the reusable filter that’s included and there’s nothing wrong with it. It cleaned really good with a little dish soap and water and then I air dried it in the rack. The disposable filter are just easier for me to use. The glass is very thin, so be careful when washing it. It feels like it would be very easy to break. Although I would be hesitant to use this while camping due to the thin glass, the case is very hard and durable giving me a little more faith when traveling with this. I only have one little issue with it. The glass filter holder leans just a little when you put it in the wooden holder. If the opening in the holder was a little bit bigger it would hold the glass filter holder straight up without any problems. Overall, I love it! It works great. I’ve used it about 10 times now and have had no issues (other than what I described already).

   I just cannot enjoy “pod” coffee, or even the little mini filters they provide in many hotels. I like a good strong cup of coffee to wake up to. That’s where this very simple, beautifully crafted pour over set fills the bill. Nestled in the small zippered carrying case is a very nice glass cup, pour-over cone and ring, and some reusable cloth filters. All you have to do is remember to bring ground coffee. Most hotels have that little coffee machine I mentioned above to provide the boiling water needed.
   I imagine this would be a great thing to bring camping as well. My only minor issue is that if you’re in a hurry to check out you may not have time to wash and allow to dry the cloth filter. Again, a very minor issue. If you need a stronger brew than the hotel in-room machines can make, this set is for you. Just don’t forget to bring the ground coffee too.

   This pour over glass coffee filter and cup are perfect for travel, camping and gifting. Comes in a nice semi rigid zippered case and reusable cloth filter element (similar to a cheese cloth). The setup was a little smaller than what I initially expected, but works well. Don’t leave home without it.

   This travel pour over set is very cool looking, and very compact. It consists of a glass cup, glass pour over funnel with detachable wooden base, glass saucer to hold the funnel, one cloth filter, and a carrying case. Everything fits very neatly inside the carrying case. I find that I need to put the cloth filter between the cup and funnel so that they don’t click against each other when the case is closed. I have not yet had the chance to brew coffee with this set, but I can tell that it will be fun. I am a little concerned about using cloth filters and the speed at which the water will flow through the cloth. I want to get some paper filters that fit the funnel before I do any testing with this set. I will update this review what I’ve had a chance to do that. From a build quality, everything feels very well made, and everything fits together very neatly. Even without having used it, I am very happy with this set.

    Upon receiving item I was very surprised & satisfied with this item . Just looking at it is like looking at artwork. I am going to put this to use when I travel . I was worried about how inconvenient it would me to store the item in its storage bag. However, I am pleased to say that it is fairly easy & not a problem at all. I was a little let down that it came with 1 filter as opposed to 3 as seen in the demonstration pictures. Overall I am happy with this coffeemaker.

    This is a very cute pour over coffee set that comes with every thing you’ll need. The case is pretty robust and should protect things for the most part, but the glass is extremely fragile. Everything is very compact and nests together for easy travel. When we first got this, the funnel would not fit into the wooden filter stand completely. The hole was not wide enough for the funnel to completely seat in it to make it stable. I had to take my reaming tool and widen the hole a small amount for the funnel to seat correctly. The set even comes with a little dish so that you can place the funnel and wooden filter stand in it so that you don’t have it dripping all over the place. It does makes a good cup of coffee and it is easy to use. Overall, it would be a nice gift for someone because it is very decorative, but it is very expensive. Hopefully not all of them have to be altered for the funnel to fit correctly.

    This is a super cute single cup pour over set. It’s borosilicate glass so it’s durable which makes it great for bringing along with you. If you’re a one cup of coffee type of person like me this is perfect. The extra glass tray to set the filter and glass funnel is a very nice touch. I’ll be using this in the mornings it’s a perfect size cup but I can see it good for people who are traveling and don’t want to drink hotel coffee or won’t have access to a coffee pot but still need a cup to start their day. Overall it’s awesome I do think if there was a coupon for this it would be better like 5-10 off since not everyone would be using it as a day to day item.

    It is hard to find good coffee on the road. This set makes it easy to get a cup of near perfect pour over coffee. The case is sturdy. It contains a glass, small plate, cloth filter and wooden top. It is easy to use and makes a good cup. However paper filters are easier than the cloth. It needs to be washed and dried. The case does a goid job of protecting the glass. The different components do not fit together as snugly as I anticipated. Nice.

    This does make a good cup of coffee but I don’t know that it’s better than a v60 or other similar pour over option. I was disappointed to see it only includes 1 Reusable cloth filter. The images seemed to show multiple and that’s misleading. The filter is a pain to clean, especially if it’s not fully dry. Otherwise you are rinsing coffee grains down the sink, which isn’t good for your plumbing. The travel case is a nice touch as is the little bowl for your pour over to drain into. The glass coffee cup is serviceable, but I prefer my standard cup.

    This is a nicely designed pour over coffee cup for travel. It comes with a nice zip around carry all storage container to toss in a duffel bag and go. It’s certainly unique, functional and will be very useful on camping trips. The size of the cup is pretty small, but I guess that means it’s okay to have a few extra cups of coffee. 🙂

    This pour-over kit, with some practice and a consistent process, can make a rapid, rich, excellent cup of coffee. I wash and dry the filter immediately and expect it to last a long time. I have been using a metal mesh pour-over funnel at home, but wanted something to use at work. I don’t like paper filters, they remove too much of the richness of the coffee, but I found this cloth filter doesn’t flatten the taste like paper does. They sell replacement filters too, at a good price (I misplaced mine for a while so I needed another.) I like that these filters are not only washable, they have a built-in hook so you can hang them to properly dry. I use the coathook in my cubicle closet, as shown. The hard carrying case is cleverly designed. The small disk for holding the base and cone after you finish making the coffee is a nice touch, but I accidentally knocked it off the table and you should know these things really shatter when they fall. So, don’t knock one off the table if you can help it, is my advice. My particular recipe for pour-over, because I like really strong espresso-like coffee, is to grind beans to a very fine grind (3 on my 0-16 burr grinder) and then use about 1/3 cup of grounds for a 6-ounce cup that I mix with equal parts milk for a really smooth very strong latte. Of course, I’ve had to mix 3/4 decaf into my beans because that’s a REALLY STRONG cup of coffee, but wow that taste. And with caffeinated beans as 1/4 of the total it’s about as caffeinated as a double-espresso shot.
