   Arrived well packaged and promptly. It is replacing a 20 year old Cusinart (it was time!) and we are very pleased with the flavour of the coffee it makes. Much easier to clean than our last model, and more compact on the counter. I would definitely recommend this model if you are looking for a simple coffee maker with no grind function.

   We bought this to replace our old Cuisinart coffee maker, that began randomly leaking all over the place. That one also didn’t keep coffee warm at all. Given that, I would have been hesitant to purchase another Cuisinart, but our close friend just purchased one and were pretty happy with it. So the biggest drawback to this one, as many other reviewers have noted, is that it is really difficult to pour out the last bit of coffee from the pot. You have to take off the lid, and even then, it will like spill out on the counter a bit. It’s just a baffling that they would design something like that. That said, I’m still happy we purchased this. It makes a lot of coffee, the taste is great, it brews quickly, looks great in our kitchen, and most importantly, it keeps the coffee nice and hot for hours! With our old one I literally had to put it in the microwave after about 1/2 hour or so. I haven’t had to do that at all with this one, even after several hours. So while the pouring issue is irritating, I’m willing to trade that for nice hot coffee.

   The coffee pot is great. The coffee is still warm the next morning. I start the pot at 6:30am and usually use the leftover coffee for Iced Coffee the next morning. If I don’t put it in the fridge the night before it is still warm enough to drink, not hot but warm. I was not expecting the carafe to keep it that warm. I use the re-useable basket and do not have grounds in my coffee. Maybe a little more sediment than using the the paper liner. The only issue is cleaning the pot. The opening is not large enough to get your hand in and even a bottle brush won’t curve up. It was easy it set up and program the auto start.

   Room to improve: Such a tiny opening to get the water in. Not a deal breaker, but room for improvement. Flavor is awesome.
