   Have used this for 1-2 cups per day since 2019. I use accessory pods and fresh ground coffee for each cup. The accessory pods make this unit shine! Pick your fresh whole bean coffee, adjust your grind and dose and this unit makes marvelous coffee. I have yet to find any commercial pods that compare to fresh ground coffee in a reusable pod. The “newer” reuseable pods with 5 holes for brewing are useless in this single brew spout unit; the extra 4 holes with “seals” leak coffee grounds all over the place and are a mess. After-market single hole pods are available and work great. Hope it keeps running! Have my eye on the K-Elite if my display goes out?

   We had one of the original Keurig’s for about 5 years and worked great. Wanted to get a newer one (silver) to match the appliances in our kitchen and with a few more features. This one works well but my main complaint is the space between the platform and the dispenser is much shorter than our other one. We have to slide the platform out before we can place a tall travel coffee cup under it. It also drips longer post-brew and can get messy if you don’t wait. I have to say we like the older one better but we are managing. 8/9/17 Update: After using this Keurig for a while now, we definitely do not like this design. It can be very messy because the drip tray has to be moved out of the way when filling any tall coffee cup. 12/3/17 Update: I got tired of dealing with drippings after brewing for our tall coffee cups so I made my own, low-profile platform. Keeps my counter clean and don’t have to worry about sliding in/out the old drip tray. See image.

   Brews great coffee when it works. Unfortunately, we started getting “Sorry, brew interrupted” after a month of use. I performed all of the troubleshooting, needle maintenance, etc., to no avail. Worked with tech support and had to repeat all troubleshooting steps, but the problem persisted. They sent me a replacement and recommended that we only use bottled water (even though I have a whole-home carbon filter and use the included in-tank filter). Replacement unit arrived and worked great for about three weeks. Now the problem is back. I don’t want to spend the time with tech support again, but it looks like I have no choice. This is very disappointing.

If you have at least half a brain, steer clear of Keurig products. Because with current crop of Keurig brewers, you’d be lucky if you get a full year of use out of them before the unit starts to break down.    I’ve wanted one of these for so long but they are on the pricey side. So when I saw it advertised used “like new” “damage to packaging” from Warehouse Deals Inc I couldn’t wait to finally own one. When I opened it up excited to use it, took everything apart went to fill the water reservoir and water started to poor out of it. The water reservoir was cracked from top to bottom! The MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE broken!!!! I guess their “like new” is quite different than others.

   This is my third Keurig and my least favorite! This brewer is so much louder and slower than my previous two. At least once a week the needle ends up clogged and I end up with a wasted pod and a tablespoon of coffee! (I descale every four weeks so it’s not from lack of cleaning!) I do like the touchscreen and ability to brew a carafe but overall, I’m very disappointed!

    This is a great product. My husband lives his coffee. Separately I buy 24 oz. Cups for him to take on the go. We used to have the K400 Kuerig and it lasted for about 8 years. We kept it clean and changed the filters and did the descaling process since we have hard water it was necessary. Our favorite feature on this new one is it has bigger oz. sizes to brew. We also love that you can adjust the brewing temperature of the water for your beverage in this new one!!!

    Our Keurig was part of our wedding registry. We were so excited to upgrade from the one I got 4 yrs ago. Unfortunately, a month after I got to set it up, the screen would flake on us. At times, it would go white or have lines through it. I would need to unplug it and plug it back in, in order to start working again. Some times, i would need to unplug it and plug it back in more than a handful of times. It was becoming too much of inconvenience and requested a refund. Hopefully, we’ll get one that is not defected the next time.

    Do I love my Keurig? Loaded question. The touch screen has a major glitch. I’m fairly certain thru using it for some time that when moisture builds up under the screen that the display shorts out somehow. Generally if I leave the top open when it does this it will straighten itself out after drying. But with that being said it doesn’t always work and you’re shooting at the touch screen blindly. Will I stick with Keurig? Probably. But beware the touch screen.

    This is probably the fourth Keurig I’ve owned over the years. I went into it knowing that I had half a dozen third-party cups that wouldn’t work with Keurig’s copy protection, but I expected the darned thing to work otherwise. The display will come up with lines across the display, blank, a jumble of images or inverted. Power cycling the unit will sometimes clear the problem, but not all the time. If you get a blank screen, then randomly touching it MIGHT start the heating process or it might not. I don’t want to go through the hassle of boxing up, but the day may come when it stops working altogether. My short advice would be to avoid this model.

    This being my fourth Keurig and it’s going in the trash – I won’t even give the problem to someone via Goodwill! The design flaw is the cell/well area where the pod is inserted. It doesn’t drain properly and builds-up residue of any/all flavor cups that are used regardless of near continuous cleaning and flushing with just water between individual uses. Initially it was discounted as a potential problem with non-Keurig brand cups. After having it happen WITH Keurig brand cups and seeing this model has been discontinued, it makes me wonder if Keurig should have issued a recall or sent a fix/replacement part that consumers could install. I’ve now gone back to the more basic version and will consider another brand for future purchases.

    DO NOT BUY FROM WAREHOUSE DEALS!!!!!!!! We purchased the product with our prime membership expecting it in 2 days, only for it to come close to three weeks later! Then we plug it in and the screen is all dysfunctional, and that it is missing the “water collection basin” we had a similar Keurig prior so just used that basin, but the Keurig itself still worked, not even two days later the whole thing stops working, won’t turn on, spits out water, just leaves a complete mess! The response I got, return it and wait for a new one, those who know the coffee need waiting another two and a half weeks is NOT an option, we ended up going to Target spending way more tens we wanted but we gave our coffee. Awful products bring sent out, and missing pieces. Awful customer service, my responsibility to return and wait AGAIN, and NO ACCOUNTABILITY on their behalf.

    Can anyone tell me what is happening. I had my older keurig for years without a problem. Finally it just went out. Got a new 475 and immediately starting having issues. Throwing up the coffee grounds and messages. Mind you I only make 3-4 a WEEK! I called k company and they ran me through all these ridiculous rituals to get the machine clean and reset. Use paper clip to make hole on top (for pressure) . Push pod with thumbs to click into machine. Clean the needle by going up and down on handle 10 times every week. I use green mountain breakfast blend. It’ never got better so ended up after a month sending it back. They sent me a replacement. Box says it’s k400. Same looking unit as mine but they didn’t send the water filter that goes into water or the thingy you use to clean maintenance machine. I’ve made 3 cups of coffee since yesterday and my third cup is again full of grounds of coffee. I ran a water alone cycle after this cup and it was full of grounds. I get message brew has been interrupted then open the top and pod looks like its exploded. Am I the only one this is happening to? I’m really hating the machine right now!!! Anyone has comments ?

    Have to clean the needle after about three maybe four uses. Pressure error, makes you start over and you’ve wasted a coffee pod. I even make sure that a used pod is removed immediately as to make sure the grounds don’t dry in needle. If it weren’t for the issue with the needle, I would love it. Update September 2, 2019. Purchased this last year on 21st September and have continuously had this issue. No longer recommend and will be utilizing my Square Trade to get this resolved. I bought two different models as gifts for others and they have NOT had any issues.

    We must have gotten a total lemon and it appears that we are now out of our return window. It’s just over 2 months old and already not working. Just a blank screen appears after we brew a cup. We have to unplug and lose any saved timers/clock every day. I’m super frustrated. My last Keurig lasted for 3 years. For something this expensive the return window should not expire in 30 days.

    I have never had a more crazy, ridiculous experience as I have had with this machine. Bought the first one on 4-15-18 and by 4-20-18 I had to have coffeemakers.us.com send me another because the display stopped working. The new one worked fine until 11-10-18 when the display starting messing up. The display completely stopped working 11-11-18. On 11-12-18 coffeemakers.us.com said I have to contact Keurig directly. I contacted Keurig and they took all the information and told me that the best they could do is send me a replacement but of a model below what I have. How does that see, right? The model below is $30-40 less. So basically I am being told I wasted my money buying this from coffeemakers.us.com. coffeemakers.us.com has the $150 from me for the original but I am stuck now with a model that costs less. Not right… not right at all… but as long as coffeemakers.us.com has their money who cares… right?

    This is a wonderful brewer, and we enjoyed it a ton. Easy to use, and a huge verity of brew options make this a wonderful item. The reason I’m giving this only 2 stars is because of the LCD Display. We got this as a wedding present in 2018, and after a few months the display would get distorted. I searched online for a solution, and found out this issue has plagued this model. The advice I got was to unplug the brewer, and plug it back in. For quite some time, this worked perfectly….until today. Today it finally crashed out. I could never get it to turn on and show anything other than what is in the picture I shared. If they ever fix this, I’d have another one of these in a heartbeat.

    I ordered this for my husband as a Christmas present. The reason I chose this model is because it can do the cup, travel mug or carafe brew. I planned to use it on Christmas Day to brew coffee for our mothers who were in town to celebrate. I was very disappointed when he opened it to find that the carafe is sold separately.     Bought it three months ago and already had to do “needle maintenance” on it. It doesn’t seem to like powder type pods (even Keurig brand ones) like chai tea or chocolate milk, things like that. Had to toss a big box of Keurig brand Swiss Miss Chocolate Milk because they’d clog it up every time. Plus I seen like 4 returns at Costco since I bought mine. Most of those return tags said “no longer working” or “damaged”… not a good sign.
