W I respect fine and does good froth but frothing wand springs into strange position.

I was surprised how lightweight (cheap?) the whole unit was & skeptical it would work. Initially had problems with frother but it’s acceptable.
But now after just 6 weeks the amount of espresso is less than the water I put in the carafe & not sure why that suddenly started after working fine before.
Overall I really like the simple design for decent espresso at home.
