Just a few short days after the window closed to return this french press the plunger fell apart. It has been returned and I am waiting for my refund. This is my third attempt to by a french press. I’m off to find a small coffee maker. Not a good product at all.

It holds 4 cups of volume and can serve 2.5 cups of coffee at a time. It comes apart and cleans easy, if it were twice the size it would be too big, but yeah, they totally lie in the description.

The one time we got to use it, it worked fine. When my husband washed it, the glass slid out of the metal holder and broke in the sink. I remembered the description saying it was dishwasher safe, but I didn’t see where the glass and the metal holder were two separate pieces. I washed it before I used it for the first time, and it gave no indication it would come apart.
