The pot is made of plastic, not metal, as the listing says. Its only metal part is the bottom plate. Also, the bottom is not detachable so you’d have to unplug the pot to pour the contents. There’s no indication the plastic material is BPA free so do yourself a favor and opt for a stainless steel pot.
