Overall this is not one of the better portable espresso makers I have tried. For a start, the “dosing” seems pretty weak to me; the grounds chamber is too small to hold enough to make a decently rich cup. Mine seems to leak rather more than the others I have as well. Add to it that this does not heat up the water, and what you have is a mediocre entry into the portable espresso category. Heating the water separately in a pan when you are camping, then adding to the machine inevitable causes spillage and mess. The weak cup it then produces is really not worth the effort. I don’t do capsules, so maybe it works better with those, but I am not impressed so far. So far nothing else beats my Glueckzeit for a portable espresso maker.

I would have loved this is if completely made Expresso on it’s own but.you need to add the hit water for it to make it.

Would be nice if it would have come with some instructions on what pods work.

I’m not impressed with this machine. I was expecting some better tasting espresso, but it honestly was just like drinking stronger coffee and I was underwhelmed. It’s okay but nothing I’m excited about.

This coffee maker is very portable. However, it could be quite cumbersome to use and there was a bit of a learning curve using it. Plus, it only uses Nepresso capsules which are pretty hard to find in my area. Decent product overall though.
