   This is a great little cold brew coffee maker. I love the taste of cold brew coffee and it doesn’t require any additional energy like a regular coffee maker does. Just fill the filter, add water and put it into the fridge. To me, coffee tastes better when it’s cold brewed. This is the ideal size for a small batch of coffee. I love the size because it fits nicely anywhere in my fridge. The jar is glass and it’s easy to clean, plus it won’t collect any odors or stains. The top fits well and the handle makes it easy to pour. It’s a nice unit that is perfect for one or two people.

   The cold brew 2-quart mason jar coffee maker (ASIN: B0BXKRXT5H) makes a great pot of cold brewed tea. We do not drink coffee a lot here, but we like our tea. Hot tea. Cold tea. Morning, noon, and night tea. This unit performs well. The top seals well on the 2-quart mason jar and does not leak. The stainless-steel mesh retains the tea leaves, but allows the water to pass through. The jar is marked on the side with both metric and US markings, so handy. The glass of the jar is heavy weight, so it has a good feel to it and is unlikely to easily break. At 2 quarts this is a good size for making fresh tea for one to two people.

   I put a 5 star review and they rejected it. It was nothing but praises for this product. I bought 2 of them. I used Maxwell house French roast dark coffee. NO coffee grounds went in my cold brew which is fantastic! I put 1 1/4 cup, way too much. Tasted good but a bit strong. I used 1 cup of coffee and placed it over night in the fridge 24 hrs and it was just right. I would recommend this product. The glass bottle feels heavy just hold it from the handle and the bottom of the glass when it’s full. Make sure the lid is on correctly so it doesn’t leak. Great value and saves me $.

   This is very easy to use. I use Coffee By Design Alonzo double dark,dark roast coffee. Grind your coffee coarse. With this brewer I found I can use about 1/34 cup of ground coffee in the filter. Fill up with spring water. I let it steep for 24 hours. Take out the filter with the grounds. Place the coffee in the refrigerator.The Alonzo puts out a very, very strong cup. Dilute your cup with cold spring water to taste. It is so simple. The filter cleans easily. Quality beans will give you the best results. I highly recommend this cold coffee brewer.

    Several years ago I began investigating cold brew coffee as a way to make my morning latte with lower acid. I’m not a coffee connoisseur and drink only one cup of caffeine a day, so I didn’t want to invest too much in a fancy cold brew kit. I wasn’t even sure it would be worth the effort. I settled on a simple solution that involved a mason jar and a “nut milk bag” (a small cotton muslin bag) as a filter for the ground coffee. It has been working well. The OneDream Cold Brew Coffee Maker is a bit of an upgrade for me. The stainless steel filter is neater to use than the cotton sack, and easier to clean. The screw-on lid with the integrated handle makes it easier to manage the jar when pouring. The jar is a standard wide-mouth mason jar, so if you have another jar, you can maintain a supply of cold brew with the one filter. The OneDream kit lacks any instructions, so I’ll offer my “recipe” for anyone who is thinking about making their own cold brew coffee. Insert the filter in the clean, empty (32 oz.) jar. Pour one cup of COARSE ground coffee beans into the filter. Slowly pour about 3 cups of fresh, cold water over the grounds. [Optional] Stir gently (with a chop stick?) to make sure the grounds are completely wet. Put the lid on and let the concoction sit: ~12 hours outside the fridge OR ~18-24 hours in the fridge. When ready to use, extract the filter and grounds, and set the filter in a container where it can finish draining. (You’ll get maybe another ¼ cup.) This recipe makes a concentrate that you will want to dilute with water and/or milk to your taste. Add ice for a cold drink or microwave it for a hot drink.

    I am going to get the negatives out first. My big issue is that they do not include directions of any kind. Luckily I was able to find some for another brand. And it still took some trial and error to get it right. Some basic instructions or tips would have been helpful. It’s also important to note that the filter does allow some fine silt to come out of the coffee grounds if you are making Cold Brew Coffee. Now on to the positives. I like that the pitcher has measurements molded into the glass. It made it very easy to add my 7 cups of cold water to make my cold brew. I also like that the pitcher is glass. That’s a big deal for me. Plastic would eventually stain in my opinion. The filter so far appears to be made well. Some have complained that it falls apart. I have not seen that so far. I like that the cap had a handle molded into it and the pour spout had an integrated cap. All good things. Can’t lose the cap that way. I also like that they included a scrubbing brush. Nice inexpensive touch. And I didn’t have to go buy one to clean the pitcher. I have successfully made Cold Brew a few times, albeit with some silt in the cup. See my above negatives. But for some, this will not be strange. Some people like the silt in their coffee. Overall, I give this 4 stars. It has a lot of positives and I can make Cold Brew at home. I can also use this for other things like tea, fruit infused water, and mixed cocktails. But the complete lack of any instructions and the fact that I end up with solt on my cold brew prompted me to take a star away. Dedicated Cold Brew makers don’t have this issue. But because this is trying to do many things to diffuse multiple kinds of ingredients into water, it has a drawback. I do recommend it. Just prepare to look for some instructs on the web. I have included some basics in my attached pics.

    This jar and filter are wonderful for making cold brew coffee. We just finished a week of vacation and this how we made coffee every day. Put the coffee grounds in the filter and then filled with water. Let it sit til the next day and we did this everyday. The size is perfect for 2 people (or 1 if you like 2 cups coffee a day).     This is the cutest little cold brew carafe. I’ll admit, this set was smaller than I was expecting, but that was purely my own fault since it says just how big it is. As a result I was uncertain at first about this little guy’s cold brew making abilities, but I am now a believer. Despite its small size, I find this 32 oz carafe is actually a great amount of cold brew for me. It can get me through a few days, but not so much that I’m left with a lot of extra that gets old and stale. Because I can run out during the week I end up making a fresh batch instead of slumming it with cold brew past its prime, not to mention it takes up less room in the fridge which is a welcome boon. The whole thing also feels well made and is very easy to clean. The twist off lid and multiple seals is convenient, though of course you have to take the strainer out to pour from it, as that’s just for the brewing process. It’s honestly a great investment, and if you’re just making yourself cold brew it’s an excellent choice. Now, if you’ve have a whole house of coffee drinkers I’d go with a half gallon, but for one person? This set up works fine.

    This is a winner, let it brew minimum 12hrs, longer is great also, use a dark roast ground, as it has more polyphenals, I used 3 tablespoons.
    So you get 3 to 4 cups of a great tasting coffee served with hot or cold milk that I wisk up, no jitters, and less acid on gut flora.

    Works as advertised. It’s so easy to use. I just scoop 8 scoops (1/4 cup) of coffee in the filter and then add water almost to the top. Then I put in the fridge for roughly 24 hours, remove the filter, and I’ve got delicious cold brew for the next 3 days, unless my wife gets into it 😉

    One thing I’ll note… the filter is really easy to clean. I thought it might be a pain to get all the coffee grinds out but it isn’t. It just takes a couple of minutes. I didn’t even need the brush that comes with it.

    I love this thing so much I ordered a second, that way I have a nice rotation and never run out of cold brew!

    Edit: one thing I’ll add is when you use this (or any cold brew coffee maker with this type of design), make SURE the top is properly screwed on all the way. This evening I was putting it in my fridge and because it wasn’t screwed on properly, the top came off. Fortunately it happened as I was setting it down so no issue but it could have been a disaster.

    My previous cold brew maker developed a hairline crack in the glass that started leaking, so I bought this as an upgrade/replacement during a Black Friday sale. It came in an unbranded cardboard box labeled as a “multipurpose glass jug” and “drinks maker pitcher” which might make it need a little more explaining if you’re giving it as a gift. Still, as a cold brew fan using it for coffee specifically, I’m happy with it. The glass is nice and thick/heavy, and the filter is fine enough to avoid any grounds in my coffee even if I use a fine grind. I love the large capacity, so I don’t have to make new batches as often. It’s easy to clean, and the included bottle brush is a nice bonus. The lid seals very securely, and it’s easy to pour. The glass is marked so you can track how much is left. If I had to nitpick, I’d have two minor notes. One is that you do have to totally remove the filter to pour your coffee. With my old maker, the filter portion was sealed from the pouring spout, so I could pour a cup but leave the rest to brew a little stronger (especially useful if I forgot to start a new batch in time to have a full 18-24hr brew). The large capacity helps tp mitigate this somewhat of course, as I don’t run out as often to begin with. If I really have to, I remove the filter, pour, and then put it back in to keep brewing away. The other potential concern depends on your desired ratio for your cold brew, since this holds 64oz of water but the filter only fits 5-6oz or so of coffee depending on grind. It’s not a problem for me personally, but worth noting if you like a higher proportion of coffee to water.

    Exactly as described. Easy to use and saves a ton of money on coffee vs buying at a drive thru. My only problem is the strainer isn’t fine enough to get all the coffee out. It will leave behind very small pieces which may be due to my regular ground coffee, not coarse grind for cold press. Other than that the quality is good, it fits other wide mouth jars I had and the handle is very sturdy.
