This brewer is great, you can allow your coffee to brew and deepen in flavor for a few minutes before you set it on your cup to release the brew. I even usually double brew for strong coffee. It makes 2 normal (8 oz.) mugs of brewed coffee or tea if you fill It to the top. The filter is secure but pops out easily for cleaning. It’s sturdy and has a nice saucer to set the brewer down on while it brews so you don’t get drips on your counter. No buying filters, and the only waste is the compostable grounds, Eco-friendly. The only downside is it takes a little more time time than electric machines, but the flavor is adjustable and worth it for me. It would take a while to brew for more than 2 people.

Bought this for my husband, he loves it. Most often, he doesn’t want to make a full quart pot. He can heat a cup of water and put it in the 16oz steeper, and fill his cup. No mess, no fuss. It would be nice if there were measurement markings on the steeper. If you have a 12oz cup, you can’t tell how much water to put into the steeper.

I bought this instead of the clever dripper because it was half the price. I use it for coffee, and instead of using the filter inside the device I use a paper filter. It hinders the paper filter from fitting nicely just a little bit, but it works pretty well. Great for mocktails with coffee.

I collect different types of coffee makers – always experimenting with different techniques to find the “best cup”. The Timolino is an interesting product. Here are my pros & cons:
Pros: It brews a decent cup of coffee – similar to French Press. It is pretty quick and certainly easy to use.
Cons: Cheap plastic, lid is fragile and removing the grounds is pretty messy (removing the plastic screen filter). It also makes only 1.5 cups of coffee. Hard to squeeze out 2 full cups.
I use it a couple of times a week. It would not be my “go to coffee” maker.

I love gadgets, but they so often disappoint on their promise – not this time! The Timolino Ingeni lives up to its description and I’ve been very happy with its functionality. I was looking for a durable french-press style coffee maker, and I love the way it fits on top of the mug and releases the coffee automatically. It’s easy to clean and I use it every day now. Because it’s plastic you can bang it around and you don’t need to give it TLC. It’s not recommended to put it in the dishwasher, but all you have to do is wash it with a bit of dish soap, so that’s not a hassle. The removable filter is very easy to keep clean too. I’m very glad I bought this.

I purchased my first Clever Dripper Tinolino in a tea shop. They use these to make their tea and I fell in love with the ease of it. I was taking it back and forth to work but there were times my teenage daughter wanted hot tea and I was not home, so I purchased a second one on coffeemakers.us.com. Now I have one for work and home and absolutely love it. I use the hot water from the water dispenser at work and the tea brews very quickly. At home, we just heat the water up in the kettle. The only drawback is the filter is a little difficult to remove. I found out dry hands work much better than wet hands to do this 🙂

Wow. Excellent. Didn’t expect it to be this good. Better than other gadjets I’ve tried. Minimal grinds in the cup (of course, I decant – even little grounds in the decanter, almost none in the cup). Great brew. Easy to clean. No more filter papers, no more metal filters. I’m impressed; built-in filter does the job.
I have recently discontinued the decant step. Now I percolate directly into the cup, because any grinds are de minimis and almost not noticed.
