I was looking for something made out of earth friendly, healthy materials- and NOT plastic. Great glass alternative to our nasty plastic Keurig, and it actually makes the mourning coffee making ritual pretty fun. Makes good tasting coffee too. This is probably common sense for all other people but one thing that didn’t occur to me is how quickly the coffee would get cold in this container. If it’s more that 15 minutes old I usually have to warm it up in the microwave (although the fact that I add a lot of cream to my coffee also lowers the temperature). Perfect size for sharing between my husband and myself- not really enough for three people unless they want less than a full cup.

The Yama pot was intended to get me by until I found a better replacement for my old Bunn. Many months later this pot is still on the counter top, makes the best coffee. I wet a paper filter and place inside the stainless filter for an easier cleanup. Wow, now I am thinking about grinding up some beans!
