   This is my second purchase because I wanted a spare in case the other one was dirty when I got ready for my morning coffee. They have survived literally hundreds of dishwasher cycles and both still look very good. We try to pour the coffee within 5 minutes of brewing to achieve the flavor we like and the coffee is still very hot after sitting for that period of time. The 1.5 L unit fits nicely in our suitcase when we travel. Bonus… the seller is exceptional. I needed a part (after the return window closed) and the communication and customer service were the best I have experienced on coffeemakers.us.com.

   This is a replacement for another metal french press. That one replaced a series of of glass ones that all broke.

   This is a great coffee maker. It’s all metal as far as I can tell, and it makes great coffee. It’s a little bigger than my old one. I didn’t realize that when I ordered, but it’s a nice surprise. The old one was fine for one person, but not multiple people. This one is fine for several. Love!

   Easy to clean, and simple to use. What more can I ask for a coffee maker?

   For years, I wrapped my Bodem French press in a tea towel cosy to keep my coffee warm, but admired the stainless French press friends used at their house. After my old beaker cracked one day, I saw the opportunity to upgrade and am so glad I did.

   The finest grounds remain separate from the coffee for the most part – a huge improvement over my old vessel – and is easier to clean. Less fragile, obviously. Coffee stays warm for at least an hour and it holds more volume. And the design is neither fussy nor too avant garde. Win, win.

   I should’ve invested in this years ago.

    This french press has a nice hefty feel to it. The filter on the plunger has a nice tight feel that should be keeping grinds out of your coffee. It appears to be everything that the description says it should be except for one aspect. I purchased this in a 1.5 liter size which isn’t at this time showing as available on coffeemakers.us.com. You can NOT make 1.5 liters of coffee in this press. 1.5 liters of water fills the press nearly to running out of the spout, with no room to have added coffee or insert the plunger without overflowing(see picture). Luckily I purchased this because I wanted some extra headroom in my french press and don’t intend to make 1.5 liters of coffee at a time, but be aware of that fact if you are looking to make that much.
