   Had a Capresso for 20 years that never failed…until it did. Figured I would try Capresso again bc 20 years is unimaginable for any machine. I’m totally disappointed in this one! Capresso quality must be a thing of the past…bc this machine is a hit or miss. Over 6 months its gotten worse. It was never great, but it was good enough. In the 1st month the pot cracked and broke when I cleaned it and “gently” put the plastic lid back on…cheap quality. I make 2 pots a day…some days coffee is warm…not hot. Other days too weak and watery. Other days too bold and muddy…so not drinkable. Sometimes I get lucky and it’s the right temperature n thickness. I make it the same way every time and never know what I’m getting. Would not recommend because the performance is as good as the $15 Mr Coffee I got at Wal-Mart while I waited for this one to ship. Don’t buy it.

   I had never heard of the Capresso brand before and took a chance. This has been a great purchase! A real pleasant surprise. It has all the features I wanted including auto shut off, and the strength button for small brews of 1-4 cups. The size is absolutely perfect standing 12 inches in height, and 20 inches with lid open. Most importantly the coffee taste great, and better than the big brand-name that I have been using for years.
   Five stars definitely recommend!

   I am not the type to complain but this coffee maker must be defective as this is what it looks like after a few months. Something is oozing out from the seam below the front buttons along with everything being rusted. Not recommended.

   Working well so far. The buttons don’t feel very sturdy when pressed. Sometimes you have to press them a few times other times just one press and it works. Other than that it works great

   saw this unit at a rental cabin we were in. liked it so much I bought one here & had it waiting when got home. it just brews excellent coffee, keeps it hot, but never scorches the coffee. 2 hours after brewing the coffee in the pot is still hot and it is fresh. they must have it calibrated just right. worth every penny.
