   I really like this coffee maker. I searched for weeks trying to find a smaller coffee pot that would fit my needs and this is it! My favorite features are the automatic start and ability to pour yourself a coffee before the pot is finished. The only issue I’ve had is starting a pot without the lid being shut completely…it overflowed in the chamber and I had grounds in my coffee. That was user error and since then I double check it’s closed all the way and have never had a problem. It’s easy to clean and the carafe seems solid. I’ve used it everyday for a couple months and it’s worked like a charm.

   The coffee maker is solid. Works great. However, the pot is very thin. Wife bumped the sink and it broke. I know we bumped our previous glass pot multiple times and it never broke. Good news I bought super cheap coffee maker with a pot that fits perfectly. The glass probably isn’t much better, but it works. So 4 stars for good coffee maker at a decent price, but a very fragile pot.

   Every time I pour weather in the well a ton comes leaking out the bottom! I haven’t had a good cup of coffee from it yet. The clock blacks out when not in use. Pretty but not practical.

   I really missed my old coffee maker. It was simple, the right size, had auto shut off and worked fast. Unfortunately it is no longer made and since I lost it in a move 25 years ago, I have tried everything but never got the right combo of flavor and really hot water to deliver that cup that just hit all the key points. I figured I would give this one a try because I rarely need to make more than a few cups and this looked simple and cheap. Guess what—it totally delivers. The coffee (a local specialty food store blend I have been using for 30 years) was smooth but bold with no bitterness or acidity. I hadn’t had that exact taste and warmth for a long time. As an added bonus, this has a timer, so you can wake up to a great fresh brewed cup.

   I ordered this to replace my four year old Mr. Coffee that died during brewing my morning cup. I loved my Mr. Coffee, and the honest truth is I only ordered this one because it met my two requirements: (1) Free same day delivery. (2) Red. I suppose the other requirement would be that it was within a budget that wouldn’t break the bank. Red coffee makers are expensive, y’all. I waited over a month to write this review so that I could form a true opinion, and I can honestly say that it’s great. The timed brew function works as expected. You can hit a button for a smaller amount of coffee (one to four cups). You can also use that button for a bigger pot, if you’d like to make it a stronger brew. And maybe this is shallow, but it’s pretty. I’m slowly replacing all of my appliances (as they wear out) with red. It looks fantastic on my black granite counter top in my kitchen done with apples and red accents. While I would call this a true red (as in, not burgundy or maroon), it’s not exactly a bright red either. I’ve attached a picture to show how it looks. I love it.

    I needed a small coffee maker and this one fit the bill. It’s indicates 5 cups, but it’s really closer to 2 1/2 regular size cups of coffee. Because of its size it brews quickly. No more waiting of the coffee pot is required. Update – after less than three months it fell apart. Continue looking if you want a coffee pot that will last.

    This is a great coffee pot with one exception: The ability to fill the water reservoir. There are two contributing factors: 1) The reservoir is divided and 2) the lid doesn’t open back far enough to add water from the bottom of the pot. When you have to tip the pot forward for water flow, the pot hits the lid and there’s an unavoidable “splash” beyond the reservoir. It’s not annoying enough to stop me from using the pot, but it is definitely annoying.

    Wow I love my new coffee machine looks exactly like the picture as you can see the red is georgous and the chrome gives it that special punch. I followed the instruction for cleaning it and it work very good. I came back the next day to leave you know how it work after putting the timer for this morning to see if it would work and wow this coffee machine makes a nice cup of coffee and everything seems to work very well.     I really like the overall quality of this coffee maker. It is nice looking and a good under cabinet size. The red is a nice deep tone and a good fit with my other red accents. It is easy to use and standard in terms of cleaning. My only criticism of this coffee maker is the previously noted complaint regards the buzzer that announces when the coffee is through brewing – way too loud. Were it not for that, I’d have rated it a five star addition.

    I decided that if I have to keep replacing my $200 coffeemakers every year like I’ve had to do due to shoddy manufacturing, I may as well purchase one under $100, which is why I bought this Kenmore. Thus far, I am really pleased and surprised how the engineers thought of every detail! For example, firstly, with the expensive models I found it a pain filling it up with water because the 12-cup karafe’s measuring line was printed on one side only while this Kenmore has lines on both sides for when you’re filling it up with water. Second, I used to struggle inserting the brew basket which did not have a way to tell how to insert it while with this Kenmore model, you don’t have to guess, it can only fit one way as you can see one of the photos I added. Third, unlike my $200 models, this Kenmore coffeemaker has a water filter in the back side and only has to be changed once every two months per recommendation. And since they are not uniquely made, you can purchase non brand filters. Lastly, I find it amazingly east to drop in the filter and use my old ones without having to buy a new shaped cone style. They drop in so easy, and you don’t have to figure out which button to push to turn it on because it is the one on the far right. When you’re half asleep in the morning, you don’t want to be looking for the on button. This makes it so much user-friendly of a coffeemaker I never thought would be better than higher end models.

    Coffee s tastes good. Didn’t realize there was a water filter with this coffee pot, nice feature. We love the red color. I’d probably buy again if you could shut off the beep indicator sounds or at least turn it down. Be careful not to throw the charcoal filter away like we did. Narrow area to pour water.

    Looks good in the kitchen however, many small features don’t work and I regret purchasing it. It takes a long time to brew but that’s OK usually. The stopper that allows you to “steal” a cup while its brewing has never worked. If you pull out the carafe early get read for coffee everywhere! I’ve fixed this in our old coffee maker but can’t get this one to work. I think it’s just not made well.

    The carafe leaks at the seal. Every time you pour a cup, it dispenses some coffee on the counter from the only seal on the carafe. Ordering food grade silicone to try and disassemble and re-glue but sheesh, this was an expensive coffee make for this.

    In summary, for the price it looks good but we’ve got coffee all over the place most mornings. A towel is kept handy because the seal leaks with every cup poured.

    I have very little to complain about with this coffee maker. It has the strong setting which is as advertised…it makes good strong coffee from beginning to end. The user interface is simple, intuitive, and easy to work right out of the box.

    The only thing I wish it had would be a stainless steel carafe instead of glass. It automatically turns off in two hours, but when the coffee sits on the burner for that time it can get burned. I don’t make big pots, so it’s not a big deal.

    The thing I most love about it is the timer. It is my favorite thing to wake up to a pot of coffee just sitting there ready to be poured.

    This is not only a beautiful coffee maker, but it makes the most flavorful coffee ever! It brews quickly and the coffee is nice and hot. My favorite coffee is blueberry, which only a few 7 Elevens sell. Anyway, I also appreciate being able to use the Melitta #4 natural coffee filters, which never fold over like the round basket ones I used with other coffee makers. It beeps when the coffee is done which isn’t a big deal and I’ve gotten used to it, since it’s the same sound as the instant pot. I also appreciate that it will turn off after a certain amt. of time, maybe 2 hours? I’m very happy with this coffee maker!!

    It took me awhile to find a red coffee maker, but when I did I was glad it was a Kenmore product! We have had good experiences with many Kenmore products over the years and have learned to trust in the name. This coffee maker looks great in my kitchen and works beautifully! The coffee is delicious and the clock and timer are a great addition for convenience and functionality! You will want to order some of the little filters for replacements, as they can not be found in stores!
