I have used many different coffee makers from a Keurig and Aero Press to french press. It looks like this is going to be a great coffee maker. I can have the convenience of a k-cup or a stronger cup using bag coffee with the included paper filters. Wish I had found this before I bought the Aero Press.

I tested it at home a few times to make certain, this press absolutely delivers, coffee tastes exactly like it does at home using the Keurig and very easy to clean up afterwards. arrived broken, this thing is massive, i would not consider this portable. I could not see how you could use Kpods in it. It appears to be an overly complicated french press. It arrived broken so cannot comment on how well it works.

Not wanting to replace my Keurig coffee maker due to counter space, I opted for this manual k-cup coffee maker. I am over the moon at the ease of use and the quality of the brewed coffee. This is a great coffee maker!

Great for off grid. Drop in a K-Cup, add boiling water, and slowly press down. The slower you press, the stronger your cup-o-joe. Rinses clean while I am off grid, gets tossed in the top rack of the dishwasher when I get home. Base is extra wide, so it fits on top of most coffee cups, even my double walled aluminum camp mugs. Light weight, so it doesn’t add much weight to the pack/kit, BUT – K-Cups and this press do take up more space than a 1Lb of grounds and a SS filter. So if you are tight on space, you may stick with cowboy coffee or a pour-over filter.
