Wow! What an absolute game changer for me! I have tried so many ways to get good iced coffee/cold brew with no luck, until I purchased this item. Its so easy and simple to assemble, and just as easy to disassemble to clean. All you need are coffee grounds and water. Its as quick as that! Its a quick coffee to assemble the day before, pop it in the fridge and bam, quick coffee in the morning. I tried to get a good picture so you can see there are no coffee grounds floating around. The filter is amazing as it allows water to easily sift through, however doesnt let a single coffee ground escape. I use fine grounds instead of coarse. This held about 4 cups of coffee for me, but if you’re putting it in a larger cup you may only get about 2 cups out of this. The glass feels very thick and durable. My coffees are quick, easy, and honestly taste amazing. I was looking for a solution to not having to go to local coffee shops to spend $4+ of an iced coffee. This product has exceeded my expectations.

Got this and was excited to try some home made cold brew. Took it out of the box, read instructions, started cleaning the unit and the gasket for the lid got ripped due to it being melted or glued to the glass….. Sad to see it. Probably should have looked at other pictures and reviews more as this seems to be a reoccurring problem.

This company has a no return policy when I attempted to return the item. The rubber stopper was ripped and now the top of the coffee brewer doesn’t stay attached. Its basically a rubberband wrapped around the lid. Bad engineering. Item is prone to break. Pictures provided. You can see in one of the photos that the rubber stopper/gasket was bound to the glass container like it melted. Does this mean that the rubber used in the lid has potential to melt into your beverage? There goes my hard earned money. You may want to avoid this company.

Sadly they use a cheap gasket which appears to have melted against the glass while either in storage or transit. The lid could not be removed without the gasket sticking like it was glued to the glass. This was one review where I had to include pictures.

Ordered this cold brew maker and the mesh portion of the insert was ripped so I had to return it. Ordered a second one and the rubber liner was partially adhered to the glass and ripped in half. Returned again and will not be purchasing a new one. Would NOT recommend this product.

Thought this was a better replacent for the one I had that was nearly identical, but with plastic pieces that actually stayed on. This piece on the bottom fell off when I was picking up the pitcher from the drying rack. Shattered all over my counter and got glass in my hand. Haven’t even had it for a month. I’m starting to think I’m going to need to spend $$$ to get a decent cold brew maker. The kicker….can’t return it or get my money back.

I was heartbroken when my tall primula coffee carafe broke while I was cleaning it. I’d been using it for a few years and absolutely loved it. The handle broke while I was trying to twist off the upper spout for cleaning, it was really hard to clean and always felt somewhat fragile when handling it. It was also awkward to store in the fridge as it was so tall. I then found this shorter version here on coffeemakers.us.com so decided to get this one and am I glad I did! They’ve certainly improved the design with this one! It’s super easy to clean, the coffee filter keeps the grounds secularly separate from your brew, I was shocked to see that it actually held more water/brew than the tall one (optical illusion I guess), and I LOVE that it fits on the shorter shelves of the fridge. I usually let mine brew for a couple days (I like mine stronger) then for storage I transfer it to an old Tupperware container I have, and start another batch so I’m never without fresh iced coffee. So glad I discovered this new design!

I’ve had this for less than 4 month and the filter is already falling apart. I’ve been very careful with this, especially with how weak the glass feels, but today I noticed that the mesh for the coffee filter is starting to go bad. I’m going to have to buy a new cold brewer soon. It’s very unfortunate because I like the size of the pitcher, it fits well in my fridge, but I expect a product to last a few years, not 4 months.

I was a big fan of this product, it was nice to have iced coffee that was easy to make. However, I was always afraid of setting the pitcher down too quickly or hard, worried that it would break because the glass is so thin and fragile-looking. Sadly I was right, as my partner was washing it one day and it lightly tinked against the side of the sink and completely shattered. Very disappointed that I had to wait a month for it, only to use it for a month and have it break on me. Too late to get a refund, unfortunately.

I’ve really had a love-hate relationship with making my own cols brew the past year. Trying to find a method that’s easy but still works well has been so frustrating. This one the rubber band partially detached when I tried to remove the top to watch it to get ready for use. I didn’t want to return it again as I’ve returned the first one plus it’s still usable just the top doesn’t seal completely. I guess you get what you pay for! I won’t recommend it.

I normally use an insulated French press, but this cold-brew system may be my new “go to.” I’ve made cold brew coffee before with other methods but this is by far the best. Preparation and clean-up are quick and easy, and the coffee is incredibly smooth and flavorful. This system reduces the acidity without taking away any of the dark rich flavor. This is not a watered-down version of coffee. It’s the real thing! The carafe is glass but very sturdy and it arrived very well packed. Highly recommend and would definitely buy again!

I purchased this because it’s very hard to find decaf Cold Brew..either premade or in filter packs. Love this item. I made small mistake the very first time ( didn’t read directions good enough). I tried putting filter in with out the cover on. Spoiler: The water pushes the grounds up! Once I got the hang of it I’ve had no problems. You can remove the filter and keep the coffee in the glass, however, I transfer it to another container (left in the photo) so that I can always have a new batch going. I do clean out the filter (easy because the botton unscrews) and then pour the new batch in to the other container through the filter to catch any grounds, but I hardly ever have any. The taste is nice and strong. As you can see with the darkness of the coffee in the second container. I just pour a cup and heat in microwave for 2 minutes if I want hot coffee. I definitely reccomend.

First use was fantastic, no problems. Second use, same technique and the the bottom breaks. The filter would not stay attached and it fell to the bottom of the pitcher, breaking a pretty significant hole. Mind you, it was only falling from about an inch or less away so the impact was not significant enough to cause this damage. Money down the drain.

I am so sad it broke from barely tapping the edge of the sink the very first time I was washing it 🙁 I wish it were a little more durable. Cleaning up shattered glass from inside the disposal was not fun. The cold brew coffee was fantastic, but I wish I could’ve used it more than once. For this reason I cannot recommend it.
