I bought this cold brew pitcher for my morning iced coffees now that the weather is getting nice again. It was the perfect size and I loved how well the filter kept the grounds separate from the coffee. Perfect size to have an iced coffee ready to go for work each day of the work week and still small enough to make it easy to handle and take up very little space in my refrigerator. I loved the design of the glass mason jar as it matches my kitchen cups which are also mason jar designed glasses. Unfortunately I broke it by dropping on to concrete full when taking it outside to set up an outdoor coffee bar for a get together. Soooo disappointed. I will be buying a replacement!! Great product.

Iced coffee, iced tea, lemonade, or just some fruit infused water. This mason jar pitcher does it all. This I am glad for. Now I can have my favorite cold beverages while camping off the grid. Nice thick large heavy made jar, well made no leakage while pouring spout with lid, easy to hold and grip handle for pouring, thick double layered mesh filter, and a cleaning brush. So easy to use. Fill it with water, add contents to the filter, and let it do its thing. I usually prepare my coffee the evening before and come the next day it’s ready for me to drink. I love this thing.

You can make a variety of beverages in this set up! I currently have cold brew coffee going. Nice glass jar with measurements and a pourable lid. My wide mouth Ball jar lids fit on this too. While this does not come with any instructions there are plenty to be found in a quick interweb search. It comes down to personal preference. You can start with 1 cup of water to 1/4 cup medium to coarse coffee grounds. Don’t use hot water, it’s called COLD brew. You’ll need to dilute it with water and or creamer once it’s finished brewing, 10-24 hours. Leave it out while it’s brewing and then refrigerate and use within a several days! Enjoy!

I love my cold brew maker, however, this is the second one that I have had come apart like this. I purchased this one in April to replace the other one that came apart at the seam. I am debating getting another because I use mine every single day but the cost of rebuying them is overtaking the cost of me purchasing coffees elsewhere. Please look into making this product stronger….i have talked several friends into buying one and a couple have had the same issue **this says my review was done in July of 2023. The fact that I’m allowed to make my own iced coffee at home for a fraction of the cost is crazy to me. Easy to do and easy to clean. Seems like the build quality is great. Nice seal. Weight can get heavy when full but it doesn’t both me but maybe to some.

I ordered this to make my iced tea in larger amounts easier. I used to boil it in a pot on the stove, wait for it to cool and pour it into my bottle. This is so much easier! I can just buy cold brew packs and put them in the filter, fill it and toss it in the fridge! The pitcher jar is easy to clean since I can get my hand into it. It also comes with a cleaning brush. The lid goes on tight and it does not leak. The handle is at the perfect angle to hold this pitcher with one hand and not feel like it is awkward or too heavy. I am very happy that I ordered this pitcher. I might get one more so I can make a couple of different kinds of tea at once to have cold in my fridge.

I bought this bundle to expand my cold brewing capacity at home. I have 2 other complete sets and should have just bought another one of those. I honestly only use the filter and lid as a last resort. Things that were sub optimal. 1 The top included in this bundle(on the right in the picture) has two issues. The pour spout is hard to open because there is no front tab to help open it. The second issue is the handle is set way too close to the jar. This makes it poorly balanced and awkward to pour from. 2 the whole reason I bought this was for the longer basket, but since it gets narrower as it goes down, cleaning this is a major pain. The other ones I have are straight down and easy to clean up.

I’ve been drinking cold brew coffee for about 7 years. I’ve tired pretty much every brewing contraption out there and I can tell you with 100% confidence this system is the best by far. It produces the best flavor, all the caffeine, without the acidic attack on my stomach. Very simple to use…. Filtered water is best but plain old tap water is fine too… I suggest buying your coffee in whole bean form and grinding it just prior to using it for best flavor. I grind mine one the course side… maybe a little more course than what you’d find in the bags of already ground coffee….. this helps reduce sludge / sediment in the jar. The cone shaped screen holds a lot of coffee. I fill mine a little more than 3/4 full to allow expansion of the coffee grounds. I fill the jar about 3/4 full of lukewarm water and slowly drop the coffee filled screen inside…. allowing the coffee grounds to absorb water… If you try to put the filter in too fast, the coffee grounds will float to the top and overflow out the top. Once the filter is fully inside the jar, I fill the jar to the top and twist the lid on. Then I shake it for about 30 seconds to make sure the coffee grounds are fully saturated… you may have to add a little more water at this point…. That’s it… I let mine brew for at least 24 hours… and most times I let it go for 2 days… I try to give the whole jug a good shake after about 12 hours to mix things up inside. When it’s done brewing, I pull the filter out and let it drain for a minute… I put the cap back on and I put it in the fridge. I really like the lid that comes with this kit. Lic #2 shows the thick silicone rubber gasket that keeps the coffee from dripping or spilling when shaking the jug. The jar has the same look and feel as a Bell Mason jar. The screen / filter mesh feels well put together and the mesh is small enough to keep sediment to a minimum but still allows for water to fully soak into the coffee grounds. This is a solid kit… everything you’ll need to make cold brew at home… better taste and much cheaper than you’ll find at your local coffee shop. You can play with different coffees to see what flavor you like best. I like a strong flavor so Italian Roast or French Roast is my fav. This system brings out fantastic flavor.

The unit is solid and well made. The lid and filter have thick silicone washers that seem like they will last a long time. The filter is easy to clean with the included bottlebrush. There are no directions on how to make cold brew coffee so I went onto the Internet but it’s really easy. Just put some ground coffee into the filter and fill it with cold water then put the entire unit into the refrigerator overnight. Make sure you screw the lid on tight. If you don’t, it could drop the glass part onto the floor. That would be a bummer. Before serving the coffee just opened it up and remove the filter, then screw the lid back on and you are ready to go. I like this set up and I highly recommend it. I also recommend cleaning it well after each use.

With the ratio being 1.5 cups of coffee to 3 cups of water for cold brew, this canister does not work. The filter makes it so half of the coffee is not in the water so you can’t get concentrated cold brew with only half of the coffee brewing. The filter is not large enough to fit 3 cups of coffee into. That would work best to make a full 6 cups of cold brew. I’m sure it’s good for other uses but I bought it for cold brew

Never having made cold brew ice tea before, I followed the directions on my box of iced tea bags, which called for boiling water first and brewing for 5 minutes before placing in the fridge to cool. It survived one round and then cracked/broke on the 2nd use—COMPLETELY my fault. I’m sure it would have lasted forever if I’d thought it through better and known how to use it.
