   I got this item as my more expensive one gave up after several years use. This item was really easy to set up and so far well worth the money, the only problem I have found with it is there is no on/off switch on it, in saying that you can set the warmer to turn off after 30 minutes or add 30 minute increments to it. When you receive the maker it’s set to turn off after 2 hours. It makes a great cup of coffee and for the price great value. Overall it’s a great buy

   This was surprisingly a great coffee maker. Loved that it was digital and just had a sleek look to it. It comes with a removable filter tray and a measuring spoon. What was neat was that it had a iced coffee mat to place on top of the burner when making iced coffee. Really cool. Timer worked well as well. I had coffee makers that didn’t even brew at the time stamp I placed it but this one did. Very happy with my item! Worth the money. Would buy again.

   I’ve only had this coffee maker for a couple of weeks but I’m reasonably happy. After my last machine quit after only 9 months, I vowed never to spend more than $40 since they’ve effectively become disposable items (I hate to think how many coffee makers are in landfills right now). Anyway this one is pretty nice – easy to use and program, makes good tasting coffee, keeps it hot, and is fairly easy to clean. I did notice that the machine is lighter in weight and a bit smaller than my previous machines but it does make 12 cups. I think what really closed the deal was that it is covered by a 2-year warranty- I’m curious to see if it makes it that far. Again, if it lasts it’s a really good value.

   It is hard to tell when this coffee pot is on when first learning this machine. Touch screen is very sensitive. I plugged it in and poked at the face of it while trying to change the time. I walked away to get water to fill the reservoir while looking at the directions. When I came back it was smoking! I quickly unplugged it from the wall, but it did not seem to harm the machine. Make sure that there is water in the machine before you plug it in the first time! We like that it has an auto on/off feature. The coffee tastes good. So far it works well without further problems. There are separate lines for the ice coffee and the hot coffee feature. The printed instructions are vague and do not show how to use the ice coffee option, but it does not take a brain surgeon to figure out that you just add ice. They do show a QR code to get full directions.

   The ihomekee makes great coffee, only problem I had was that the carafe broke near where the handle is attached. I knew the carafe glass was weaker than any other one that I had used as soon as I picked it up because it was very light. After 1 week of daily use, it broke when I picked it up with a full carafe of coffee in it fortunately I did not spill my morning coffee! I could not find anywhere in the description where they said the carafe was made of tempered glass or any hardening agent. My only other complaint is that it does not use a cone filter which surprised me because I thought that was the standard. Filter bottom must be flat.

   I’ve been using a much smaller coffee maker for a number of years, but whenever I have company I have to brew more than one pot of coffee. I was thinking of getting a larger capacity machine for awhile now. When I saw this one it seemed ideal. I can brew up to 12 cups at a time yet it doesn’t take up much more space than my old pot did. It has some great features, too. I can make my own iced coffee, which is a great money and time saver. I also really appreciate the cleaning feature. Being reminded that it is time to clean and having a button just for that is great! Anything that I don’t have to keep up with like that is a huge bonus. Also a must-have for me is the auto shut off. That way I never have to worry about forgetting. One thing this coffee maker does not have is an Off button. You simply press whatever feature you had turned on to turn it back off. If you have brewed the coffee and want to turn off the pot, you just press brew again, for example. This coffee maker looks nice, has a great capacity, can make iced coffee, and offers a cleaning feature. It also offers a delayed start. With lots of great features this is a very nice coffee maker.

   At first, I was a bit annoyed that there is no clear off button. Instead, the coffee maker brews your pot, and then starts a freshness count, ranging from 30 minutes to 4 hours (2 hours is the default) and then turns off afterwards. The clock keeps time well, and doesn’t lose a minute here and there like other products have done in the past. Setting the time for a later brew, then, is accurate to the minute, and starts right on time. Waking up to the smell of fresh coffee brewing is sure to get you up and moving. The coffee maker has a setting for iced coffee, and hot coffee. The carafe fits securely, does not leak, and has a large handle that is easy to hold. The branding is not invasive. The whole thing operates quietly and smoothly to make a great cup of coffee.

    PROS: does it job. Can load it up and setup a time to brew coffee so it’s ready when you wake up etc. easy to clean.

    CONS: doesn’t keep coffee hot for longer time. You cannot refill water to full and brew just one or two cups. It will use all the water from tank to make the coffee. So plan how much water and coffee power you need to fill based on how many cups of coffee you need

    It smelled strongly of a chemical / plastic. I ran full pots of water through it for hours,, litterally. I then ran vinegar through it multiple times . Then I ran water through it over and over. It still smelled very strongly of plastic. I brewed coffee in it and you could taste the plastic, it was nasty . This product has many good reviews , I can only assume they changed the type of plastic it was made of ? In any case I don’t want to think what this machine is leeching into the coffee. Disgusting

    I’m so glad this coffee maker showed up when it did. I was using a Keurig for the past 10 years. It finally went kaput. We bought a newer model. It works fine but the pods have as least doubled in price since I started. I said it’s time to go back to basics! This coffee maker from Ihomekee fits the bill. It’s footprint is nearly the same as an old Keurig but obviously it can make up to 12 cups of coffee at once. Now a cup of joe is a few cents instead of up to $1 per pod. My favorite feature is ‘sneak-a-cup’. It’s a spring-loaded piece that stops liquid from flowing. Simply remove the pot and the valve gets closed. I forgot coffee makers had this feature. Very nice! This one also has a 2 hour countdown that lets you know that your pot of coffee is still fresh. It will power off after sitting for 120 minutes. I have not used the iced coffee feature or the timer function. I just click on ‘brew now’ and go. Another nice feature is the ‘clean’ function. I did that before brewing any coffee by mistake. It’s designed to remove scale and build-up. This comes with a 12 cup carafe. It also has a clear indicator that shows how much water is in the tank. The hot plate keeps the coffee at just the right temperature. It doesn’t scald the coffee like the old makers did. Definitely recommend!

    The stopper seal on the funnel was broken out of the box allowing the flow to continue when the carafe was removed before brewing is complete. Clock feature does not stay on continuously which kind of defeats the purpose of having a clock to begin with. Brewing function works alright and produces a hot cup of coffee.

    This is my second review and I’m changing it from a 4 to a 2. The coffee pot has been a disappointment and that the coffee usually tastes terrible and is weak and only lukewarm. I purchased a used like new percolator from coffeemakers.us.com to replace this and it’s much better.

    Another update. Changed to a 1. The temperature reached after 30 minute ‘brew strong’ setting is around 100° F. It’s wasting expensive coffee. I have to fill it to the top only to get thin and weak cold coffee. I’m gonna throw this thing in the trash.

    Sleek looking coffee pot. Touch screen controls so nice to have.
    Makes great coffee but the reusable filter basket has a solid bottom and the sides of it only allow for water to filter through. Process is slow and gets plugged. I had to replace the filter basket with one that has mesh on the bottom as well, and problem solved. Great coffee pot for the price but now I’ve had to add cost of buying another filter.
