   This Unbreakable pour over coffee pot was easy to clean, easy to use and looks super classy as well. I used a little over 2 tablespoons of coffee to 1 cup of water heated to 200°F and poured it slowly through the reusable filter. Some people recommend letting it set for three minutes after pouring, but the only advantage to that is to get every last drip from the grounds – to me I think it’s less about time and more about watching to see when the dripping stops. I prefer not to let it get cold. As long as your coffee isn’t ground too fine, the basket is easy to clean, but even with the finest grind there was still no grounds in my coffee which was AMAZING! During cleaning the black rubber tab does slide off, but that is good because it keeps water from getting trapped under it and it was very easy to slide back on. I’m really happy with this purchase and it will provide many amazing cups of coffee in our home.

   Major warning: ‘Unbreakable’ is the model or brand name. It’s still just glass. Point removed for misleading nomenclature. It’s a bit smaller than I expected and the filter is smaller, too, so the filtering process seems to take a bit longer. The glass is thicker than the old one and it has a larger flatter bottom and has a glass handle so no cork hot pad required to pour from the hot glass is needed. It looks sturdy enough that it may survive being tipped over on a hard surface at least once.

   Disappointing. Thin-wall glass is fragile and of small capacity, the tapered neck makes cleaning difficult. Better suited as a creamer than coffee maker. The reusable mesh filter is quite porous, which allows fine particles to muddy the coffee. Advertised as an 8 cup coffee maker… but in reality it barely brews half that amount. Where’s the truth in advertising ?

    I have owned this product for about 8 months and the screen in the filter is separating and coming apart. The glass on the carafe is very thin, so you have to be very careful with it (I broke mine).

    No complaints or suggestions. I unpacked the cafe set and immediately put both through the dishwasher. Both came out beautifully without streaks or spots. The metal funnel showed no signs of water damage. Normally I’m a French Press person. The French Press, I find, gives me a more muddy Turkish feel. But, sometimes it’s nice to switch up. A pour, for me, produces a lighter full body flavor and texture. The ‘Unbreakable Pour-over Coffee Maker’ didn’t disappoint. It’s dishwasher safe. Stands up to hot boiling water. The carafe holds two mugs plus of coffee. While you’re drinking one cup, you can keep the remaining hot in the carafe directly on the burner. Be careful and don’t lose the little rubber handle cover for the funnel like I did. I think by accident I threw it away. Not to worry if you do. The handle stayed cool to the touch. Even though it would be more comfortable with the cover on. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    When I ordered this carafe I didn’t realize it came with the pour over filter. That’s great value! Out of the box, the presentation is very good. I can tell this company cares about user experience. The ink gives it a sleek, elegant look. Overall, I’m very happy with this product. Details: PROS: – Great value – Elegant – The pour over works great! I use without a filter, trying to be more eco-friendly. – Both filter and carafe are easy to clean CONS: – Markings on real product don’t entirely look like the product photo. I don’t mind at all that this is made in China at all. I think China can make great products. However, I don’t love the “Made in China” letters right by the 400 mark. The product photo only displays a 500 mark (see included photos and video). – Brand name seems misleading. It hasn’t broken yet, but it does NOT seem/feel unbreakable – I know they were going for a minimalist look, but in practice, it isn’t so easy to know how much water you’ve poured in, unless you’ve measured before pouring… – The only way this would fit 8 cups of coffee, is if you include the portion at the top (upper half of the neck). However, that’s not how pour over works… you’d have to fill this to the brim, and you’d probably have to fill the filter to the brim too. And you’d need to hold it above the water… It’s more like a realistic 4-5 cup. Then, I haven’t measured exactly. Since it has no top markings, you have to eye it. I will measure and report back. Overall, I’m very happy with this carafe and pour over. It makes pour over easier when I have guests, as I only had the 1-2 cup version. I would not hesitate to buy from this brand again!

    The ad said “Unbreakable”,…….well this morning buy just setting the filter on carafe caused it to crack and break. This is the third one of this style of drip coffee maker! And for the filter we had to run the coffee thru it twice because it ran through the filter so fast!

    The filter seems finer then reusable mesh coffee filters we’ve bought in the past. I’m highly skeptical of the “unbreakable” claim. This is probably about right to serve one or two people. Should work nicely for coffee or tea. Overall we like this pot and it comes in a few different colors. We’re also using this as a second stage filter for cold brew with a paper filter.

    I absolutely love this coffee pot. It’s based on an old German coffee making method from as far back as the 60’s. There is no plastic involved. It’s a steel filter and a strong glass carafe. The glass is heat resistant and you can leave it on the stove on warm and the coffee stays hot until you turn it off. Neither the pot of the filter basket stain and they both stay clean. It is so superior to the pod making coffee makers and takes up no counter space. You can have 1, 2 or 3 cups of coffee without having to us expensive pods every time you want a cup. It’s far more environmental, tastes so much better and is a much better value for money than a coffee maker. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

    After breaking my Bodum pour over coffee maker i decided to give this one a try, I liked that it had a handle. Yet what I didn’t consider was the size difference in the design of the top/filter width. In comparison, this filter is much smaller and therefore holds less water and it takes longer to make coffee. Now the coffee it does make still tastes great, it works as it should and looks good. My only issue was durability, in the past I have broken theses due to dropping them in the sink with soapy hands, but in this case it was gently bumped in the sink and next thing I knew it was cracked. Maybe it was hit just right, but it really shouldn’t have broken that easily. So it ended up in the trash and I went back to the no handle Bodum pour over coffee maker, time trumped the handle, and the wider top of Bodum is easier to clean than this one.

    Works great at first. Filter only lasted 2 months. Seam on inside split open and grounds get stuck between the 2 layers. I was gentle with washing when I noticed seam was not flat when I received item.

    I was fairly happy with my order until the plastic handle cover began sliding off. When it fell in my garbage disposal is when i was inspired to write a review. Dailly i have to put it back on. Not fun. Everything else works fine.
