   This cuisanart percolator is my go to coffee pot. Perks in less then 10 minutes for an enjoyable cup of Java. Nice tasting, easy to clean love the high chrome finish. It is easy to pour, the cord is long enough. I like that you can unplug it from the pot and serve coffee at the table, plug it back into the pot to keep warm.

   I have had this model coffee perculator for a decade give or take. We wanted an additional one for decaf and the other for regular. So we bought another for our selves.
   Our sister in law loved how the pot was free to move at will and can just set back on the base to keep hot or reheat. I like alittle stronger than normal cup of coffee. The pot has clear makings for water level marked in cups and the coffee canister filter is marked clearly as well.
   To make a stronger cup of coffee just add less water. The decade old pot is still doing just great. I hope the new pots hold up as well. They appear almost identical

   I am addicted to coffee and have had all kinds from all sources. This coffee pot brews the very best I’ve had anywhere and does it quickly. I was reluctant to buy it because of some of the negative reviews about grinds in the coffee and other ridiculous stuff like whether the top is plastic or glass (who cares). The bottom line is to just wet the basket (as called for in the directions)before you put the medium grind coffee in and life is good. I understand the theory that suggests drip coffee makers are better than perc, but if you did a blind test using this pot, you must conclude that perc is better. I plan to order a second one to keep in reserve in case this one ever breaks– it’s that good!

   Makes great coffee. The top has a plastic top and it has broken twice due to heat.
   Had to replace the top twice.

   We had one years ago but were tempted by the convenience of single cup brewers. I really missed the flavour, so when the single cup brewer finally died this year, we purchased this model.

   The base let out this awful smell with every brew for the first week or so, but it did not affect the carafe or the coffee inside at all. Brews quickly and the coffee is very tasty. I find that I use one scoop less than number of cups we are brewing and we get a nice strong coffee. We did the first couple of brews without any filter paper and although it was pretty clear of grounds, we decided to start using drip coffee filters to keep all grounds out. Works perfect. I just tear a tiny hole in the center of the paper before pushing it into the basket. Keeps the hole small enough that grounds don’t sneak through.

   I have had this model of coffee pot for 9 years. I use this pot every day. I love it and have no complaints. Yes, I have had to replace the little plastic knob that screws into the lid of the pot, but it was only about $2.75 (ordered from the internet). I have had NO other problems with it. I always use the round 3 1/4″ paper filter disks I buy at our local supermarket. They are in the coffee filter section of the market. They fit perfectly in the bottom of the basket. I don’t get any grounds in my coffee cup or in the perked coffee. People have commented on how good the coffee tastes. The quality of the coffee is suburb!!!!

    I personally don’t drink coffee, but I make it every morning for my husband. We live in a very cold climate where it’s not unusual to have -20 to -40 degree Celsius days so he takes a lot of coffee with him. I was previously making two french press coffees in order to make enough for him to take for the day, but now with this percolator, I make a 10 cup pot and it’s perfect for his travel mug and thermos. It’s easy to put in the grounds and water necessary the night before and just plug it in in the morning saving lots of time. Love that it does an auto shut-off to a warming option. He says it tastes good, so I’m going by that lol.
