   Excellent fresh press that consistently and quickly makes a smooth cup of coffee. It retains heat well, cleans easily, pours effortlessly, and keeps the grounds from escaping the filter. Has a sleek well-crafted look and seems like it will hold up over time. Only negative is that it will leave water stains after cleaning if not meticulously wiped down. Not that big of an issue. Good buy for the value.

   I don’t usually write reviews but I really wanted to for this one. Have only used this new press a couple of times but already love it. It’s good-looking, solid, and does its job beautifully. It makes perfect coffee. The top slides on really nicely and doesn’t have any gaps or wobbling so you know it really traps the heat inside, and also will make sure none of the coffee grains will slip into your cup when pouring. As a bonus, the kit comes with an extra mesh filter. The stainless steel finish keeps your coffee warm for a while. Overall It looks good and cleans up easily..

   It was very hard to find a french press that did not have plastic at the mouth/lid or bamboo with some type of silicone. Until I stumbled upong this brand. Ive been using it for a few months and even tried it with teas.

   I search and search and search for kitchen essentials without plastic – why is it so hard to find? When you put hot coffee into a container with plastic, it is not good (you can look it up on your own I won’t go into specifics). So anyway I finally found this and it’s exactly what I wanted. It’s also huge so you can make coffee for 4 people if you fill it all the way. I also like the stainless steel handle (which you can remove for washing the glass).

   I really liked that this was a no plastic option but it’s not flat at the base so it wobbles around on the counter. I returned it because it didn’t feel sturdy because of this.

    The french press is my favorite coffee-making instrument. Glass doesn’t alter the rich flavor of my precious Kona beans the way some stainless presses do. I also wanted a natural way to conserve heat when I make two 16-ounce mugs at one time, instead of single cup by single cup. The partial stainless steel shell cladding of the design ensures a non-metallic flavor plus a hot second cup. I waited over a year to write this review to make sure the press is truly durable and easy to clean. With its functional design and extra strainer nets, this is my favorite press ever.

    I have been looking for a French press that is plastic free and was very excited when I came across the Rodolffo glass and stainless steel French press. When it arrived, the French press didn’t sit flat on the counter; it wobbled. My husband realized the stainless steel was slightly popped outwards on the bottom and was able to pop it inwards using a tool. Once he forces the bottom inwards the French press sat flat on a surface and no longer wobbled. After we made our first batch of coffee, which was absolutely delicious by the way, we noticed after cleaning the coffee press that water remains trapped between the glass and the stainless steel outer cover. I am concerned about how well it will dry and if water will remain trapped for long periods of time. It is too difficult to remove the glass from the stainless steel shell for better drying. I decided to call and email customer service and inquire about this concern. Both the phone number and email address found in the booklet that came with the French press do not work. The phone number is not a real number and the email I sent came back as undeliverable. Haven’t decided yet if we will return the French press or not, but I am not very happy that I cannot contact the company.
