At $60, it’s around twice as much money as the next slightly larger size Hamilton Beech coffee maker. There is no specific reason for this. It does as good a job at making coffee as anything. The valve designed to allow the user to pour some coffee out of the pot while it is still being brewed did not work, even from the start. A counter top covered in coffee was the immediate result.

Nice coffee pot. The hot plate is great. Make a nice hot cup of coffee, and a full pot in about 7 minutes. Its a little on the expensive side but we will see if it stands the test of time. I’m tired of buying a new one every couple of years because of unsightly rust. Shipping was pretty fast. They put the original box in another box with some packing. I think it helped to protect it just a bit more. No damage.
