   You have to wing it with the directions, but not hard to figure out. Put coffee grounds into the sieve, insert sieve in pitcher and Voila. Easy peasy. I like the heaviness of the glass.

   I was able to pour a little more than half a cup of ground coffee into the strainer and filled it up with water to match where the coffee marked so it could soak properly. I like the thicker glass and the easy lid & pourer. UPDATE: so I had this for about 1.5 years WITHOUT ANY ISSUE before it cracked. It was TOTALLY MY FAULT, as i wasn’t looking when placing it on the counter it collided with an ikea glass bottle that I didn’t realize was there. It cracked the handle base at the top. I enjoyed it while I had it, and would leave the coffee brewing sitting up to 48hrs before removing the strainer; and washed with cold warm water. Didn’t notice any leaks when pouring either. Only thing was that the brush provided to wash the strainer wasn’t strong enough to clean the bottom stain where the coffee would sit. It still cleans well, I just wanted it to be completely stain free but i did have it over a year with weekly use. I’m determined to purchase again soon, just unsure if I wanted to try something new or not.

   Works great and looks great. Though the lid/spout is not water tight so when you pour iced tea it leaks and tea gets everywhere

   It’s a really nice decanter! I love the glass, and the handle feels thick and sturdy. The stainless steel filter is really good about keeping particles out of my drinks (I like making cold coffee with it), and it’s really easy to clean. The only reason it has 4 stars instead of 5 is that I have a problem with the lid leaking when I pour a drink. Other than that, it’s really nice!

   Product works to make cold brew, but leaks as soon as you start pouring into a cup. It is also pretty difficult to get coffee grounds into the narrow cannister without spilling coffee all over the place. Tastes okay though.

   The glass design was nice but unfortunately the seal of the cover was faulty. The black cover would leak and fall off when pouring.
