   Some reviews have said it’s hard to clean, and some have said it drips. I didn’t find either to be the case.

   Others have said it’s too expensive for a 20oz press, but I didn’t find many others for a lot less than this one that don’t have some other alarming negative reviews. I think this one is attractive, it feels solidly made, and it suits me just fine.

   Also worth noting – many people use a french press incorrectly. You’re not supposed to press the plunger all the way down – it’s meant to just sit right at the top level of the brewing coffee and just filer as you pour, once it’s time. I think this is one reason so many people complain of grounds getting through. If you look up correct french press technique on youtube, you will find some good advice from some very knowledgeable people.

   This French press is perfect for someone who enjoys a single cup of coffee, somewhere between 18 to 20 ounces. If you want to top off your cup a little bit, there’s open a little more if you go for an 18 ounce cup.

   When I have time while working from home, this has been my go to for a nice robust bold flavored coffee. There’s just something about a French press and a dark roast!

   Clean up is pretty easy, and I’ve had no issues getting this done in just a few quick seconds.

   This is really a beautiful and even durable French press. I’ve never been able to say that about any of the French presses that I have owned previously. They tend to break if not used very carefully. And I do take care of my things, but it seems to be the nature of a French press. However, this one is nice thick glass, encased in durable plastic; with a plastic candle. It seems to be made for my family with young adults who don’t take care of my things. So to say that this is a good value for the money is not an understatement. Additionally, it is also easy to clean. Even the plunger handle on top is cute, like a little flourish.

   I love a good French press, and I ordered this one because it was only 20 oz and perfect for an extra large cup of coffee (or for two regular coffee drinkers). It worked well, and it made a very strong cup of coffee. I also liked the glass “window” to watch the grinds and water merge before plunging them down with the press. However, for half the price, I could order a larger French press and make twice the coffee. It was also difficult to clean. With similar presses, I can easily remove the glass beaker and gently wash the parts. I am not sure if the glass beaker is removable from the frame in this French press. If so, the glass is stuck and not removable when we tried to clean it. The other issue is the top of the press– it does not fit the frame, and there is no tight seal. It drips and spills when pouring coffee. It is cute, it makes a good cup of coffee, but I will stick to my other French presses to avoid the mess.

    It’s not very large, maybe about 2/3 the size of my other press, but it works fine. I don’t especially like the molded plastic around the glass, just because of debris getting stuck and not being able to clean it all that well.
    So, I’d say buy it if it’s cheap and you just need a single/two serving size, otherwise, I’d look elsewhere.

    I ordered this thinking it was something completely different. We ended up giving it to my mother in law. She presses coffee herself. She said its simple to use,and easy to clean. The quality of the press is great. It’s a 20oz press.
