   I have Arcelik Telve at home and I am very happy with it. I bought this product to use in my office. As it is said, you can make coffee, but do not expect a very good tasting coffee. This product should be considered more like a water boiler rather than a coffee machine. The quality of the material is below my expectations. Overall an okish product, but I would tell my friends that they could get a much better one by paying a little more. For example, Beko Turkish Coffee Maker

   Heated extremely fast. Easy to boil-over if you don’t remove the pot from the base as soon as it boils. I wish the temperature could be varied. I was able to make tasty coffee. A few minutes to come to a boil. I let it stand for a few minutes after that. Read the cleaning instructions. A fun way to make Middle-Easterned coffee.

   By the time I have added the sugar and the coffee, stirred them in and heated up my cream in the microwave, it’s done! I have been drinking Greek coffee for a couple of years and love it. However, I absolutely hated waiting for my electric stove to take its time while I agonize over watching the pot. no more! It’s almost too fast. Just got a second one for my boyfriends house. He is amazed by it also. now we just hope it holds up. Especially since the handle is terrible. Feels like it’s going to fall off every time I use it. I have already tightened it once but seem can’t seem to adjust it so it is not so wobbly. As everyone says, design flaw! Fix it!

   PS just used this and realized my other major complaint is that the MAX line is very difficult to see. It needs to be more pronounced and extend all the way around the interior of the pot. It’s awkward. And I still say the handle is terrible!

   Advertised as dishwasher safe, yet instructions specifically say do not submerge unit in water to avoid possible damage to the base. It also says easy to clean. 100% false. Upon it’s first (and last) use, once the water started to boil I removed the unit from the base and it continued to boil, over flowing and pouring boiling water and coffee grounds all over my counter and floor. Once I dumped out what was left, I saw that the coffee grounds had burned onto the bottom of the unit and even using a scouring pad, the bottom is still caked with ground coffee. This does not proper Turkish coffee. Did I get a faulty unit?
   I don’t know. All I know is what I received is garbage. Do not waste your time, or money, on this piece of junk. Asking for an immediate refund.

    There is no on off button as other reviewers point out. So it heats as soon as its on the base. My wife put water in which flashed to steam in her face. She cooks Turkish coffee every day and is from Turkey. No heat control. It went in the trash.
