This coffee maker has way too many design flaws. First the coffee filter! Why is half the filter covered in plastic makes weak coffee even if no use whole beans and a scoop of ground coffee , the temperature I need to microwave my cup.
The ounces are never consistent, the water tank has no low water alert and will brew and alert when it’s “empty” cleaning the two baskets inbetween single uses is what I expected the deign of both baskets are ridiculous not thought out and annoying to clean. Every bit of this machine is made of cheap plastic but looks pretty until you’re close to it and realize it looks cheap and the California warning to toxic chemicals.
I miss my old coffee pot and regret getting this one

The coffee maker had a chance to be great but it is the worse coffee maker I’ve ever used. You need to use it to realize how bad it really is.
You will first notice there are grounds in your cup. It either grinds the coffee too much or something else is going on.
After making a cup of coffee there are coffee grounds everywhere. You need to disassemble it after each use and clean it. Coffee grounds will be in the filter of course whkch is harder to clean than most other filters but also everywhere else. Basically it is just too much work for a single cup of coffee.
Disposable coffee filters were invented for a good reason. Not sure it would even help this thing. Coffee will go everywhere.
Used it five times, throwing it away.
