Since there are several items offered here, I must note that I am reviewing a Hario V60 Switch clone (comparing to the original which I also own):
The two main reasons why I returned this (poorly done)clone are:
1. The glass is so laughably thin (half thickness of the original if not less) that not only it doesn’t retain any heat, but I was afraid to remove it from the silicone base for cleaning, because it felt like it would shatter in my hand.
2. The silicone tabs that are supposed to keep the steel ball inside are too short; the ball falls out and is easy to lose down the drain or the trash can when cleaning. The original doesn’t have that problem.

Although it’s not for everyone, it’s what I wanted. I’m lazy and I don’t like clutter, so I do drip coffee and when I’m done with it this little guy can pass for something decorative on my desk, I don’t have to hustle it to the kitchen sink like some ugly household utensil. It’s also small, maybe cup and a half. That’s all I do. So it looks classy on a tray on my desk, matches the decor (yeah, that MATTERS!) and is quick and easy to clean. That’s my priorities — 1, looks; 2, contributes to the overall atmosphere; 3, not a bother to clean. I should get a cat.

OMGosh! I love this. I bought it for power outages, as I can’t do without my morning coffee. And NO, I did like instant coffee. I gave it a test run, and the coffee taste is amazing! Tip make sure water is very hot, or by the time it’s dripped through it will be cold. So glad I made this purchase.

The seal is a ball bearing that sits on top of a rubber hole. However, the rubber pieces used to hold the ball bearing in place are too small, and the ball bearing falls out easily. I ordered a glass pour-over coffee maker to replace my plastic pour-over coffee maker. One of the important features, the on/off switch, is made of hard plastic. The hot coffee comes into contact with this plastic piece while making coffee.
