The single cup loose coffee brewer I used for years foolishly changed their design and it no longer makes decent coffee, and I refuse to buy expensive wasteful pods! Pod machines just don’t work with loose coffee, and all the name brand machines made for loose coffee have issues, so I took a chance on this Bella Single Serve Coffee Maker and it works great! The filter is not too big (weak coffee) and not too small (leakage). If it lasts more than a year it will be well worth the price.

PROS: It doesn’t take up much space. Very quick to brew even 14oz. Easily switch between gounds and pods. *Adjustable bottom tray makes for using mug vs tall carafe (definitely necessary because of splashout).
CONS: Splatters if cup isn’t at the closest possible height. *Ability to adjust height but the mechanism is only the two plastic prongs that hold the tray up. With time and weight of cup, probably will break off eventually. Cord storage is just a velcro wrap that holds cord. No place to store reusable basket or pod basket not bring used.
OVERALL: Probably could have found a better quality product for the price.

Thus far, I’m very happy w/this coffee maker. It brewed quickly, was hot & the fact that one can use their own grounds is essential to me. Also, the feature of being able to adjust the shelf to either a regular cup or a travel mug is a plus. I also like the fact that you pour water from the cup that you’re using, so the amount is perfect. The coffee also tastes very good.

It has an adjustable height base for travel mugs up to regular mugs. It only holds 14oz. Of water at a time. So filling a 20oz travel mug has to be added to(can use the same pod) to get a full cup. (you have to add the right amount the second time around.)
Does a great job of heating the water. Machine does cool off fast. You will have to run water through the machine a couple of times without the pod holder to get it clean (especially after cappuccino or hot chocolate pods). This machine use #2 pods not the original pods ( which are smaller).
Also works great just running hot water for a tea bag in your cup. Price was a big factor also. Great Price!

I’ve had a lot of coffee makers, regular drip, French press, pour over, a real kurieg, a Nespresso vertuo, I’ve tried everything. This is the best little coffee maker I’ve ever used. My kurieg always made weak coffee but you choose how much water you use for each cup here so you always get nice strong coffee. The provided basket for grounds is also very generous for strong cups
Edit: it just stopped working. It won’t brew, it just makes noise.
