Bought this for a party in January but weather had it rescheduled to March. We put everything together as per the instructions but water barely spits through the tube. We tried it three times. Took it apart to make sure nothing was obstructing the tube but all was clear.

EXCELLENT PURCHASE. THE ONLY THING I HAD HAPPEN WAS I DID NOT TAKE OUT THE FILTER WHEN MY COFFEE WAS DONE AND GRADUALLY IT STARTED BREWING AGAIN, SO AS I READ THE BOOKLET I REMOVED THE FILTER AND IT WAS FINE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE, THIS IS FOR MY OFFICE AND WE LOVE IT!

New the pot box was damaged, but the urn itself seemed to be in perfect condition. Needed it to serve a hot punch at a Christmas party this past Sunday. I pre-warmed the punch before leaving home so we didn’t start out with cold punch in a cold pot. Good thing I did because the pot never turned on when plugged in. Tried two different WORKING extension cords. The light never came on. The unit did not heat. Good thing I had warmed the punch earlier because it served lukewarm rather than hot. Then when I went to drain the pot before bringing it back home, the spout handle quit functioning. While trying to fiddle with the handle it then broke off in my hand so I had to finish draining the pot manually before washing. It would have been a good size for the event and a convenient product had it worked the way it was supposed to. I am now left with a non-functioning coffee urn. Not a happy camper to say the least.
