   The first one I got lasted only 3 weeks and the replacement lasted only 3 months. I took the second one apart despite these idiot using tamper proof screws trying to make repair hard/impossible and found a bad heating element and I suspect the first one had the same problem so these things are just landfill fodder and environmentally unsound

   I’m tired of going through coffee makers ever 3 weeks to 2 years and going back to percolator on a gas stove because no one can seem to make a decent drip coffee maker anymore and it’s not like they are complex devices, it’s just they all use the same junk Chinese parts …. This is the 4th drip coffeemaker I’ve went through in the last 4 years from 3 different brands …. Brand doesn’t matter because they all use the same cheap shoddy Chinese parts

   Finding a “basic” coffee maker is hard these days. They all have clocks and digital settings that can drain a small amount of electricity when not in use. We never use the auto-settings and as far as a clock, I can look at my stove which is right next to it. I love the color though! we have a red and white kitchen and finding the right color reds has been an issue – red isn’t always red. But, this is RED! Close to my Kitchen Aid red artisan mixer – just a tad lighter.
   The coffee maker seems a bit noisy, but then they all seem that way to me… it drips slower than my last one, but the coffee tastes good and it is hot. Many times after the coffee is done dripping it is not as hot as it should be – this one makes hot coffee 🙂

   The brew was satisfactory. The On/Off switch stopped working after three weeks of once per day use. For warranty service the unit must be shipped to California, USA ( $53 postage from the E Coast ).

   Cute coffee maker and easy to use – very simple. However, the unit I received had a lever that popped off all the time (cheaply attached) and the warmer was almost cool – never warm or hot. Makes good coffee, but then after about ten minutes, the coffee had to be microwaved to warm it back up. Tried for four days – but am now returning it. Since all coffee makers seem to die after a year, I thought that buying a cheap one would at least save some money. The last $70 pot I purchased died in 1.5 years. It is almost time to get out my 30 year old, sturdy, aluminum camping percolator. It never fails.

    Brewed the coffee but the area that was to keep the glass container with coffee was not keeping it hot. You can see in the photo that we had it plugged in and my husband put a hand on it to show you there was nothing. It was very cold. Will not buy again. Returned it but not sure if I’ll get all my money back as it said there would be a 20% stocking fee. We’ll see.

    I ordered this coffee maker and love it! Worth the money, makes great coffee and easy to use. However…..this is my second one. The first one I ordered worked 2 times and then went psycho. I immediately called coffeemakers.us.com they rectified the situation and next day aired me a new one. They picked up the other one at my house the day after and now I am the happiest coffee drinker around! Thank you coffeemakers.us.com for being so on the ball!

    The coffee maker is basic, but makes good coffee and keeps it hot. The red is a true red and matches my other accessories. Would buy it again if necessary.
