   I bought this black and decker coffee maker because I’ve always had b&d coffee makers and had zero problems with them lasting for years. I currently have one at home that I love, however I purchased this one for our trailer and the first time I used it was disastrous. The basket doesn’t line up with the carafe. Every time you insert the carafe, it pushes the drain from the basket off to the side. And every time you insert the carafe first then install the basket nice and straight so everything lines up, when you close the lid it bumps the basket and the drain on the basket doesn’t line up with the carafe and coffee goes everywhere. The only way to use it is to install the basket and carafe then reach in and manually line up the drain with the carafe. I do love b&d coffee makers … but not this model.

   This coffee pot was a hit with my in-laws. They love their morning coffee and was able to easily use this and set the timer for the next morning. It came out of the box all ready to go in one piece and was pretty simple to install. Highly recommended!

   Product is very poorly made. Lid is difficult to get closed properly and if not totally engaged water comes out the sides and makes a mess. On/Off button is the same as a previous Black and Decker model and broke within a year!

It functions very well. Simple set up and program. We’re not namebrand snobs, we decided to get one for ourselves since our Cuisinart gave up on life, & needed to be replaced.

    I like the fact that it was delivered on time. This was a gift to a friend but unfortunately the glass part had a broken tip and the broken part was not in the package so it looks like it came like that.
