   Very nice, if a bit small – only can hold a cups worth of grounds. Fairly sturdy, easy to clean, and the flow is good. You will need to use filters, of course.

   Purchased this to replace many holders that never filtered well – with or without liners. It is a solid piece and ergonomically efficient as the handle is proportioned well for use and size – easy to hang onto and steady. My cone filters were too tall so I folded the bottom up and one side in to reduce the capacity and it slides right in. Pour over is a breeze and it definitely is a huge improvement. Very happy with the device. The artwork isn’t my preference and I would have preferred a different color or flower to match my kitchen but that isn’t a reason to downgrade it at all. I rate it super high for efficiency and ease and cleaning. It is breakable so I’m worried I’ll chip it sooner or later but until then it’s been the best I’ve used.

   I came across this new coffee dripper and fell in love with it immediately after the first use. I have been using coffee drippers for so long that I have gone through several Hario drippers, big and small. Hario is pretty much the benchmark for ceramic coffee drippers. So my review will focus on the comparison between Blue Brew and Hario brands. I actually purchased both 2-cup and 4-cup drippers and compared them with the Hario drippers I already had. The observation was pretty much the same. 1. Material: I believe both are porcelain. But Blue Brew looks a few shades brighter. (See Photo). It’s almost as white as a bone china cup I was using. (Another Photo) If you are into pottery, you’d guess the Blue Brew was made of better quality kaolin clay. The Blue Brew also was a little thicker than the Hario, as I measured at the rim. That made me feel the Blue Brew was heavier and sturdier in hand. But actually they both weighed about the same. 2. Easy to use: Both brands actually are very similar in size, shape, and weight. Both look very solid and easy to use. I would say it’s a tie! 3. Heat Retention: In theory, the thicker dripper is preferable because it retains the heat just like a good thick espresso cup. The Blue Brew dripper appears to be a bit thicker. However, the difference in practical use remains to be seen. 4. Design: The beautiful cornflower design pattern and the circular color rings make the Blue Brew coffee dripper stand out. The pastel blue series is just poetic to me. Or you can call it a piece of art! 5. Price: At the time of my purchase with coffeemakers.us.com Prime, Hario cost almost twice as much as the Blue Brew counter parts. 6. Package: The Blue Brew drippers came in beautiful, you guess what, BLUE gift boxes. I would not go as far as saying they were Tiffany boxes, but very close. I have planed to purchase a few more Blue Brew Ceramic Coffee Drippers as holiday gifts. I am sure all I family and friends will love it.

   I wanted to like this so badly. After looking at tons of cup pour overs I picked this because it was actually pretty. There were NO pics of the center hole. I expected 2 or 3 small holes not 1 giant hole. It pours through too fast. I am unfortunately returning for a slower drip cup

   This is a larger size than I expected, but not too big for a standard 12 oz cup. A size 4 filter fits perfect, and I assume a smaller size would work just as well.

   It feels heavy. It’s more beautiful than stainless steel, but like glass, you can’t drop it on anything hard.

   Looks great in person. The only reason for 4/5 is that the hole in the bottom could have been smaller (but to others this would be a benefit, since if you wanted to keep the water on the grounds longer you might as well use an aeropress or french press).

   Nice looking ceramic coffee dripper, but does NOT fit a #2 filter as advertised… it’s too small for filter. My guess is this smaller one fits with a #1 size filter. There is a larger size they sell, that ALSO says it works with #2 filter. The larger one maybe would fit a #2 filter, I don’t know. I called their phone number, but they claimed you have to match these with THEIR #2 metal filter. No thanks I have a box of #2 filters. The smaller model does NOT fit with #2 filters, as they state on the item description. I suggested they edit the description for future customers. They didn’t want to hear it!

    My glass pour over dripper had a huge chip in it where some glass broke, so it was time for me to get a new dripper. I was so happy when I found this one. Yes, the coffee drips super fast because of the hole so I did have to add more coffee. I also added the mesh metal filter from my previous glass dripper and it fits perfectly. I still add a paper filter in that for easy clean up and I’ve been happy with this much prettier and functional pour over coffee dripper!

    This is a very pretty coffee dripper, however, the hole at the bottom is too large, and the water goes right through much too quickly, which produces a very weak cup of coffee. To try to rectify the problem, I had to use up to 4 paper filters with the lining folded at the bottom. This slowed the process and produced a better cup of coffee, but it’s a waste of paper liners. This item is not for people who like a strong cup of coffee.
