   This product is NOT as advertised. The carafe is NOT borosilicate glass – it is plastic. The plastic encasing the carafe is cheap, and when I tested the plunge mechanism at the top, it felt weak and unstable. If the carafe was borosilicate and the plastic encasing it was sturdier, then that might justify the price point. The seller is not Bodum like I thought. I am not sure who is selling this version of the product, but I have requested a return, and am going to look on Bodum’s site to see if I receive the product as advertised.

   The hole on the filter cover top is broken. It was disappointing that it was broken when I got it. At first I didnt notice it but as soon as I used it for the first time, I saw it then compared it to my old filter cover top (I kept the old one after the glass broke due to an accident after 10 years). I still love Bodum but just disappointed that it was like this.

   Perfect French press for 2. Makes roughly 2 full average size mugs of coffeee. Which is about what I need every morning to transform back into human form. If you’re brewing for one or a single cup couple – this is for you

   Nice well made French Press . I’d warn though that my idea of 3 cups and theirs obviously differs . Id say nearer two cups if your lucky or just over one mug of coffee . Which for me is perfect as that’s all I want it for and I never use my good coffee on guests anyway they just get the instant .

    Just the right size for two full mugs of coffee. Lets minimal amount of grounds through. Has a more sturdy design than other French Presses I’ve tried.
