   I used to own a store brand coffee pot and i THOUGHT that was good coffee. until i began doing some research and found that people preferred french press over “drip coffee makers”. So i loved the Bodum Eileen 17-Oz. French Press Coffee Maker as it suited my decor taste and bought it. It works wonderfully i can truly taste all the flavors in the coffee and if i put Organic vanilla ice cream in my coffee it taste like coffee shops creamed coffee in my house! I am simply amazed at why more people are not owning a french coffee press. I love mine and will NEVER go back to drip EVER. Everything in my coffee press works fine the glass is durable and lid stays on, functions wonderfully.

   Cette cafetière est très jolie et pratique, mais attention à prendre en compte que le format 0.35L ne contient que trois petites tasses à expresso ou un bol, car elle a l’air plus grande en photo. Sinon la cafetière est plutôt résistante et remplit parfaitement son rôle, ce qui correspond à ce que je recherchais. Je recommande à quiconque à envie de redécouvrir le goût du café tout juste moulu et ne souhaite pas s’encombrer d’une cafetière plus grande.

   This is the 2nd Bodum coffee maker I’ve bought. The other (all metal) one was pretty good but this one is even better. I always drink a mug (not a cup) of coffee so by filling this 1/2 way it makes one perfect MUG of coffee. So I guess it’s about 4 regular cups. It’s beautiful to look at, easy to clean and would make a great gift. So,,, if you like to drink a couple of mugs of coffee this is the one to get.

   I bought this because I was worried about the plastic in my old drip coffee maker. This does have a small piece of plastic at the top, but it only touches the coffee for a few seconds while it’s being poured, and isn’t heated, so I’m not worried.

   Overall, this coffeemaker makes the best, rich, dark coffee I’ve ever had. It’s a cinch to use, and then just goes in the dishwasher.

   j’adore le café piston ! les cafetiere bodum sont supers. il y a juste un peu de marre de café dans le fond de la tasse, il ne faut donc pas finir le fond de café dans la tasse mais sinon café excellent (j utilise du bio, marque supermarché)

   The carafe is made of very thin glass. It has arrived broken. I understand that a lot of people prefer glass to plastic, but – evidently – it is fragile. Perhaps, Bodum should pack it better. Perhaps, if you want something fancy like this (and fancy it is – it looks stylish, and the gold-like plating is fine), you should get it in the store.
   I have no complains about coffeemakers.us.com: the refund process was quick and painless.
   So, really, it’s five stars to coffeemakers.us.com for handling this episode.

   I love french press coffee, but I don’t drink too much. This is a perfect size and the quality of Bodum french presses are always pretty good. Unfortunately, I found this particular one to be a little less in quality. I have the same product in green, and the metal parts of this product seems less sterdy and well-made compared to the other one I own. I’m not sure why… It’s still a very stylish and nice french press to own.

    It was much smaller than I expected. It’s very mini. I returned it and purchased the next size up from Starbucks in the street Christmas sale. I love the bigger one. It works great and its super cute.

    I bought this french press because the one I had fell and broke. I decided on this one because it has casing surrounding the glass beaker so it protects it from breaking. This french press is just beautiful. I’ve only been drinking french press coffee for a few months and I tell you there is nothing better than french press coffee. If you having tried it give it a try. If you don’t like any “grit” in your coffee try putting a coffee filter around the plunger it keeps all the coffee grains out of your cup. I love this press, I may even get a bigger one so I can make multiple cups for company. Great item, highly recommend.

    It wasn’t as large as I thought it was going to be, but it’s great for a delicious cup of french pressed coffee. The design is great and is good for someone who only wants 1-2 cups of coffee. I am kind of a coffeeholic so the larger one would be better for me, but this one works just as well!

    The design is very modern and looks great in any kitchen! The only thing I’d like to point out is to keep in mind that the top silver lid is actually plastic and not metal. This isn’t a huge issue, but may not last as long? Just something to keep in mind.

    Tip: I bought this as a replacement for another one I had (same company) that I broke the glass part for. After receiving this, I learned that Bodum sells replacement glass pieces, so if you break, you may want to buy one of those instead of a whole new french press.
