   I bought this french press to use at work, and it makes the perfect amount of coffee to fit in my DCI I Am Not a Paper Cup 10-Ounce Porcelain Travel Cup with Lid. It seems to be the same excellent quality as my 8-cup Bodum French Press at home, but much better for a single serving. As long as you use coarse-ground coffee, I have had no problems with the sieve.

   All in all, a great product for coffee for one.

   Très simple d’utilisation avec sa cuillère de mesure pour le café moulu. Permet de faire de 1 à 3 tasses à la fois en 5 minutes. Passe au lave-vaisselle, mais le plus simple reste de le laver de suite pour en refaire dans la journée. Très simple à laver à la main. Idéal pour un foyer avec un seul consommateur de café ou deux petits consommateurs.

   It works great. Only thing is, it is a 12 oz flask and you can’t fill more than an inch from the top, and once you add the coffee you end up with about 8 oz. of coffee. Not really enough to fill a mug. But the metal filter works well, no grounds in the coffee, and it seems to be built well. I’ve had mine for about a month and so far I like it.

   This is not a three cup size product it holds about a small cup of coffee from the look of the size…. Very disappointed that I could have purchased a larger bodum French press for less that what this is priced for and even more dissatisfied by the fact it is not returnable because this product is not what I thought it was.

   I’ve had this press for over a year and a half now and it’s perfect for the office. I’m the only one that drinks decaf so I make it myself instead of in the office coffee machine, and usually only a single mug – by “cup” they mean “coffee cup” which different people and brands define as anywhere from 4-6 ounces, hence the “3 cup” on this one – so this is perfect for me. I make sure to use a coarse grind in it and a few little grounds here and there might sometimes still get into my mug but overall this does a great job of brewing a decent mug of coffee. This fills up my mug just to the right level and it’s easy to wash. I’d recommend it to anyone.

   Love the bodum french presses, love the green, very durable and long lasting…assuming you don’t have butterfingers like me and drop the glass carafe on the ground. I just wish they made a size between this tiny one and the big 8-cup size. I dropped the bigger one I had and broke the glass, so I decided to downsize since I’m the only coffee drinker in the house. May have to get another big one in addition to this small one. Sometimes I want a cup and a half or so of coffee, and this just makes one mug’s worth.

   Nice looking press. I knew it was small, but the advertisement does not do it justice. It’s about the size of a small cup. Also, the product is glass and was chipped at the top. I found out while trying to wash and slicing open my finger. I could only fit 3 fingers in the press to try and clean. Hope this review helps other buyers. Does the job though…

    La Caffettiera e’ costruita benissimo, ma di sicuro non si possono fare tre tazze di caffe’!!!
    Dalle foto sembra molto più’ grande, in realtà’ non si arriva a fare una tazza Mug classica piena.

    Note that it is small – single serving. Grind course. Stir grounds and water just off a boil. Give it four minutes before plunge and pour. Incredibly delicious coffee. You’ll get a few grounds in your coffee, so just don’t drink the last ounce.

    If you want a simple, inexpensive one person/one good-sized serving of coffee, don’t bother going to Walmart or Bed&Bath for their lowest priced model. This is the best one you will find for the price.

    Some notes: I don’t know why they say “3-cup” because that depends on the size of your cup. This makes 12oz of product. Some other reviews mentioned that the strainer is one solid piece. Mine comes apart and reassembles perfectly so don’t worry about being able to clean it. The plastic case looks like this will be hard to break even though it is real glass (WAY better than the “unbreakable” ones). But the plastic is sharp and I have to clean carefully so I don’t cut myself on the notches along the rim.

    The only other bad point is that it seems to cool down fast, so I have to wrap it while brewing.

    But the seal is strong and the filter works very well as long as you don’t grind your beans too fine.
