   I love homemade coffee in a Brikka pot (metal stovetop) and a French press. I already have a four-cup and six cup Bodum pot but I didn’t have a little pot just for myself for those mid-afternoon pick-me-ups. Now I have one. This Bodum “Caffetiera” French press coffee maker is such a beautiful, simple little device. It is elegant to look at and makes a rich, smooth cup of coffee. It is also simple and easy to clean. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

   I make one cup of coffee for myself every morning, and I love having a single serving size french press. It seems well made and looks good. The only complaint that I have is that the carafe is a litte loose in the holder, and the press is a little loose in the carafe. It doesn’t let coffee grinds through, but it’s loose enough that that it might when it gets older.

   No hay nada que decirle, Bodum es el estándar dorado con la cafetera “French Press”. Funciona perfectamente, el sabor es magnífico (sí se puede sorber la diferencia en verdad). También, es posible reemplazar uno o todos los partes de la cafetera; no se cuesta mucho. Por eso, todo por todo, hay que comprar Bodum. Ojalá que hayan más productos como así en el mundo: sencillo para averiguar, barato, hecho para durar los años. Si no conozca con la cafetera “French Press”, la 1L sea mejor para una reunión o algo como así (o si seas de Suecia o Dinamarca jaja): hace mucho café, FUERTE, no es como de filtro. Por supuesto, vivo solo y todavía hago medio litro (más o menos) cada día pero pueda hacer todo con amigos. Sí, tengo un problema de café… Así, recomiendo la 1L más que la ,33L (es pequeñito). ¡Disfrútela!

   Både trevlig och fungerar mest bra.
   Men, ett litet obs. Man måste då och då justera kanten på filter-delen innan man ska använda pressen. Annars kan det rinna över när man ska trycka ner pressen. Det problemet har jag inte med min andra motsvarande kaffe-press. Men i övrigt är Bodum-pressen jättebra.

   Die Kanne kam ohne schützende Pappverpackung in einer grossen Bubblewraptüte, die ihrerseits in einer noch grösseren Bubblewraptüte steckte.
   Seitdem benutze ich den Glaseinsatz als Glasglockenspiel. Der herrliche Klang, wenn die Scherben aneinanderstossen, ist bezaubernd!

   In 2017 I bought from the same company Bodum French Press, a 12 oz cup that lasted 7 years, great coffee maker. It broke this July and immediately bought another one. The model was a bit different, but I noticed that the glass was much thinner-seemed extremely fragile. It broke today (I used a lot of caution when washing). It does make great coffee, but unfortunately it is very very fragile ☹️.

   This was by far the best purchase and price. It is lightweight, well made, easy to use, easy to clean, and makes a great French Brewed Coffee. Highly recommended. The only thing is that it’s not easily portable because it’s glass and metal without any type of cushioning. Perfect serving portions and ideal for 1 or 2 people.

    I bought this for my husband thinking on his morning coffee. I used to use the big press to prepare his coffee but I was not able to calculate the exact amount of water that was needed. Also, as this press coffee maker a litlle it doesn’t make too m uch space as the other one, and as I use it daily it is good not to have a big jar always outside. If you want to use it only for 2 small cups or 1 mug, this is your press, if you want more, buy the bigger one. Both I have are Bodum and they are great.

    How this model can be advertised as a 3 cup is beyond my understanding of what constitutes a cup of coffee in USA. Twelve ounces is good for 2 skimpy cups and / or only one mug. Two scoops of coffee grinds, fill up with hot or recently boiled water to top of metal ring that holds the glass will make a decent flavorful cup of coffee. Don’t forget to stir grinds with wooden stirrer before putting lid on top. Wait four minutes and strain. Sure beats instant coffee
