   I bought this as a replacement for my first Bodum coffee maker. The handle broke on it, and I noticed this one was the same model, but with a much sturdier handle. I don’t drink a lot of coffee, but when I do, I want a cup that tastes great, and this one delivers. Follow the easy directions, use a coarse ground premium coffee, and you’ll get a great cup of coffee the first time, and every time.

   I bought a pair of these and broke one of the glass carafe parts about the third time I used them. The glass is extremely fragile. But the cut is almost healed!

   Seriously, I only gave it two stars because they do make pretty good coffee. otherwise it would have been a one-star review.

   Pay carefull attention to the liter size. with the air space you have to leave at the top this will not make more than one small cup of coffe at a time. for the price it is a rip off, as the daily deal it was still a waste of money. i should have returned it, but figure it is too late now. i saw one at Starbucks that actually made 3 CUPS of coffee for the same price. do not buy unless you want an espresso maker.

   Je disposais d’un modèle concurrent équivalent, et la tige avec le filtre a fini par céder après 6 mois d’utilisation quotidienne.
   Ce modèle à l’air un peu plus robuste et la taille est parfaite pour un café long.

   This makes the best coffee for almost any coffee drink. Just add 2-3 tablespoons of your favorite coffee and mix in 10-12 oz boiling water. Steep 4 min. Press. Add desired amount to hot milk and voila! If you actually boil or scald the milk before adding the pressed coffee, you will taste the traditional Puerto Rican café con leche! Yummy!
   I have a tiny kitchen and this is so small and convenient. Clean up is so easy!
