I have had this mug for years and only use it when there is no other option. It does work to press coffee or tea but fine grounds drift up and the liquid doesn’t stay hot for long.

After just two or three uses, water and soap started to come into the insulating double layer when I washed the cup. This is prone to contamination and formation of mold, not to mention that the residues can be seen through the clear cup walls. There is a small space between the two plastic layers on the outer side were the liquids find their way inside. I hoped that this would be a sturdy item given the price and the brand, but I am disappointed.

Ok for being something clever it’s not really good as a travel mug or a press, but for something quick it does the job satisfactorily.
However, the last few sips have grounds, I don’t really care about that. What I do care about is that it’s a pain to clean.
**Don’t put coffee grounds down your sink!**
You will eventually clog the C trap and need to either hire a plumber to clean the trap or do it yourself. Not very fun just to get a quick cup of coffee.
The best way I’ve found to clean it is to dump the grounds in the trash, fill it back up with water, then take it outside and sling the remaining grounds into the grass, and then rinse off whatever is left into the drain (which you shouldn’t do anyways).
