I’m a barista with Starbucks and I’m very passionate about coffee, the processes behind it and overall flavour, aroma and outcome of a fantastic cup of coffee, I received this product and a slow pour kettle this morning and immediately got to using it, for those new to coffee there are very helpful guides in the package to making coffee with this product and a QR code to a full description of the major farms the coffee comes from and a taste and aroma guide for those wanting to develop their pallets.
The product itself is elegant in design and very easy to use, and comes with everything you’ll need for a beautiful cup of coffee, I am very happy with this and reccomend it to everyone wanting to taste the difference.

This is plastic! Not glass! And it was broken into 2 pieces when I got it.

Es una cafetera hecha con estilo y buen gusto. La parte exterior hecha con dos conchas plásticas duras, que calzan muy bien, evita darle golpes a la botella de vidrio más que conservar el calor del café. El filtro de metal muy eficiente y fácil de limpiar. 8gr de café para 150gr de agua da un café con cuerpo, si queremos más fuerte le podemos subir la cantidad de café hasta llegar a 10gr como máximo. Buena compra.

La protección de plástico hace que el café dure caliente más tiempo, pero no de la misma manera que una cafetera térmica. Aun así lo recomiendo, estoy muy contento.

Very nice quality, what you’d expect from Bodum. I had the previous version without the extra surrounding container (yes it is plastic and separates from the main glass body) and it was an issue that your coffee would lose a fair bit of heat before the pot was full. This clever solution of tightly wrapping a plastic body around the jug improves the heat retention considerably. I’m sure a vacuum flask would be a lot more efficient but this I think is a worth while step up! Very happy
