- ✔ EASY TO USE: The coffee cold brew maker is simple to use. First grind about 6-8 teaspoons of your favorite coffee as coarsely as possible. Insert the stainless steel filter into the empty cold brew coffee pot. Pour in about 1/3 of the ground coffee. Next, add approx.1.5 cups of water, followed by the remaining ground coffee. Add another 580 ml of water until the coffee pot is almost full. Then put the cold coffee brewer in the fridge for 12 to 20 hours. Glass product: Handle with care.

At first I thought I’d really like this. But then I didn’t …
I’m an avid cold brew drinker, and this is not my first cold brew setup. I liked the stainless filter and the elegant vertical design and look. But after a few uses, there are the problems I’ve discovered:
– The filter lets through sediment, so the coffee is cloudier than with other makers (even with coarse grind)
– The filter is very hard to empty. It is narrow, and the bottom does not come off. You need to use a tool to empty it.
– the washer and top are not great. Easy to get stuck, and I suspect the washer will rip soon given the stress it is under if it gets caught on these tabs this has for locking the top
– The filter is so narrow, that if you plunge a teaspoon in to stir the grounds you can’t always remove it without pulling up the grounds and overflowing the top (making a mess).
I suggest looking elsewhere …

The cold brew coffee maker came undamaged. The filter has incredibly tiny holes through which no larger grounds seep through but you might get a bit of coffee “dust” as I like to call it. That however is minimal and does not take away from the overall taste. You might wanna let it steep over night to maximize flavoring If you like it on the strong side. The glass is a bit thin, definitely won’t survive a fall out of your hands onto a hard floor. The opening through which the coffee pours out is not covered, I knew this beforehand and so far it still hasn’t bothered me either. Definitely a good buy. Easy to clean. You can remove the filter entirely and turn it into a carafe If you want to keep water on your desk. Would buy again!

Perfect brewer for single person. I can get at least two days of need consumption, three if I only have a single cup a day. Easy to clean with a bristle brush.
Grip is nice to help with handling and pouring of drink.
Can also be used with lose leaf tea.

I love this. The rubber grip around the carafe is useful, easy to fill with coffee grounds, and doesn’t leak any grounds into the coffee. Especially in the summer, really great to wake up to a perfect glass of coffee. I just prepped it overnight, made for very good tasting coffee the next day, with no bitterness at all. I just wish the carafe was bigger, as I am drinking more coffee now!

Coffee grounds went through the filter and there’s nothing to cover the lip where the coffee comes out. The glass is also pretty thin. I usually boil water to kill any bacteria. I don’t think I’ll be able to pour hot water into this glass without it cracking.
