   This item is a great choice for a quality coffee maker. The Braun coffee maker is a good product with great features. It has numerous size options to pick from depending in what brew you like. If you in a need of a quick cup or have friends over and require a few cups it can handle all. It is super easy to add water and coffee and clean the filter as well. My 2 favorite features are the cold brew option and the stop drip option. I am huge about a good quality cold brew and this one delivers. Quick easy and full of flavor. The other item that surprised was the stop drip option to prevent from making a mess. The only 2 negatives that i rated this a 4 star is 1 it beeps very loud and no option to change the volume setting and 2 if placed below top cabinets its hard to add water or coffee without moving the machine due to height clearance. Otherwise a great machine!

   I orginally wanted to get the Braun MultiServe Plus Drip Coffee maker because I love coldbrew, but didn’t have a way to make it. Not only is the coldbrew delicious and easy to make, but the other settings of Over Ice and Bold offer a great change up! However, I think my favorite setting is the Gold setting. To be Gold Cup Certified, the coffee has to be brewed to a stength of a cup of coffee as defined by the Total Dissolved Solids. When using this setting, the coffee is smooth, robust, and flavorful without tasting too bitter. I also really enjoy how you can brew anythign from a single cup all the way up to a full carafe, so you never have to worry about not having enough, or if you are on the go, making too much. The coffee maker is very easy to clean, has a water tank with a charcoal filter, and a warming function. I honestly don’t know what else I would need!

   I have an older drip coffee pot that I was happy with until it started getting really noisy toward the end of the brew cycle. Plus, I have different pots for different types of coffee – French press, Moka pot, and a dedicated cold brew pot. All of these combined take up a lot of space, and each has to be used with a source of hot water besides the pot, except for the cold brew pot. I was excited to try the Braun MultiServe Plus Drip Coffee maker because I could have my cold brew, or a small cup of espresso, or a medium sized cup, or really almost any size cup or carafe I want. For all that it does, the coffee maker is relatively compact, and setup was a breeze. The water tank has a carbon filter to help improve the taste of the water. I brewed a single cup of coffee, and the controls were very intuitive – pick a cup size, pick Gold or Bold, and wait patiently. Brew time was reasonably quick, and I brewed Gold which was strong enough for my tastes. My old drip pot would waste a lot of the grounds as the water would not soak about 1/4 of the coffee. The Braun drip configuration lets the water hit all of the grounds, so I get a more flavorful brew. I tried a full pot on Bold, but that was too strong. A second pot on Gold was just right. I tried a 5 oz. cold brew and that came out very strong – I had to dilute the cold brew with another 5 oz. of water and some ice cubes, but the coffee was not bitter and was as good as from my dedicated bold brewer, but in 20 minutes instead of 12 hours. Overall, this is a great coffee maker – easy to use, easy to clean, and very versatile.

   Overall, this is a nice coffee maker that brews a smooth tasting coffee. The first cycle I used was gold with the 12 oz cup size. It was nice to pull the shelf down and put my coffee cup right under the maker. It made just the right amount of coffee. I also tried the cold brew, as this is the preferred method for my husband. I followed the directions and used half a carafe size. I figured it would bring it up to the max cold brew level, which is about half a carafe. As you can see from the second picture, it did not. The next day I did full carafe, on cold brew, and it was closer to the max cold brew level. I wish that was specified in the manual so I knew how much I was brewing. I also used less grounds the second time and I enjoyed the taste a lot more than the first. The taste of the coffee from this maker is great! I feel like the water could be a little hotter. When adding creamer, it really takes the temperature down. It takes me several attempts to get the “on” button to work. I also wish the tone when done wasn’t so loud. Overall, I will enjoy using this coffee maker the most for cold brew. A feature that I have not tried, that I believe would be beneficial, is the delayed brew. Sometimes it’s nice to wake up to your coffee already made.

   Right out of the box I knew the Braun MultiServe coffee maker was a high quality product. Setup was very simple and I had the machine plugged in and ready to make a carafe of coffee within minutes. Unfortunately this was my first coffee maker so I quickly realized I had to go buy ground coffee in order to make my first carafe lol. Later that day, with coffee in hand, I was able to measure out the right amount of coffee (thanks to the included two-sided scoop), add water, choose my size (from a small cup to a full carafe) and start brewing. Within about 10 minutes my coffee was ready to go – and it was delicious! Because I made a carafe, the warming plate automatically kicked on so my second cup of coffee was as hot as my first. Overall, a very nice coffee maker with a lot of nice features. Check it out!

   Let me preface this review by saying I’ve been using an old, tiny 4-cup Mr. Coffee coffee maker for years, so literally anything would be a big step up from that. But I have really been impressed by my new Braun MultiServe coffee maker! I love how it can switch between so many different sizes with just the switch of a knob. The cup shelf is such a good idea and makes it so easy to only brew directly into a mug of coffee so there’s less to clean. I was worried about splashing during the brewing process, especially if it’s not a very tall cup/mug, but I didn’t have any issues with the 12oz mug I use. The DripStop feature is also nifty for when you need to stop during the brewing cycle in case you want to take the carafe out. It brews coffee faster than my old machine, and I’ve noticed the coffee seems smoother and even a little stronger though I used the same amount of grounds. So I feel like I could use fewer coffee grounds for the same strength coffee I like and save money over time. I haven’t used it enough yet for it to need cleaning, but I do like that it has an indicator light for when it needs cleaning (which will hopefully be an easy process). I usually drink hot coffee, but I do like that this machine has the option of Over Ice and Cold Brew, so I will definitely be trying those more, especially as summer approaches. I did attempt the Over Ice setting once, and maybe I did something wrong (I’ve never tried to make iced coffee before), but all the ice in my cup was melted by the time the brew cycle ended. I might try the Cold Brew cycle instead of Gold and see if that works better with a cup of ice. Overall, it’s been a great upgrade!

I immediately went for the Cold Brew! I used the spoon that came with the maker and the quick guide as well as one of the paper cone filters that was included to get me started. The maker also includes a much appreciated reusable filter for regular brews, nice value included. Cold brew took right at 14 minutes to brew the largest serving using 25oz of water in the maker. This feature that makes this Braun Coffee maker a versatile addition to our kitchen is already much appreciated from day one. Water flow when brewing seems sufficient and timely.     I would usually make cold brew in our French press each night for my husband to drink the next morning but he prefers hot coffee. I love cold brew and tea myself. Setting up our machine was extremely easy and I love that it will automatically turn off if we forgot to. Having several options makes it perfect for us. I can’t comment on the keep warm setting as we haven’t used it. The only negative for me personally is that we don’t have a lot of counter space at the moment so we have to pull it out from under the cabinet to fill it with coffee and water. I’m unable to put it elsewhere due to the cord being so short.

    When I received my coffee pot from coffeemakers.us.com, the box the machine arrived in was badly damaged. There were holes throughout the box and the side of the box looked like someone had dropped it on its side and then ran it over. The machine itself seemed to be intact enough to leave a review though. Upon setting it up it seemed high quality. The multiple brew and serving options were appreciated. I brewed my first pot on the gold setting and was quite impressed. It gave my coffee a taste that seemed true to how it should have tasted all this time. I never experienced the true flavor of my favorite coffee brand with my last coffee machine which was evident when brewing with this machine. I also like the temperature options. I can keep my coffee warm in the pot for 15 minutes or up to 4 hours. The 3 year coverage warranty is a nice addition. This machine delivers optimal brewing performance in every cup by calculating the precise water flow, temperature, and speed for every coffee preference and that’s nice because my entire household drinks coffee and all has their own preferences. It brews a pot of hot coffee in under 8 minutes and a cold brew in under 13 so it seems like it has everything to like, but then I realized that it requires special paper filters to brew the coffee and a charcoal filter that has to be changed monthly, which I don’t think I would keep up with. For those reasons. I would personally go with a different machine that requires less maintenance. After less than a week of owning this, the machine is no longer keeping my coffee warm. I do not recommend this coffee machine whatsoever.

    I first want to start with the cons because the price is one of them, which is an important factor. I only have two cons and one of the is a bit nitpicky…so the first thing I noticed upon turning the machine on and running it is the beeps are quite loud. I’d rather not be “yelled” at by my coffee maker in my groggy wee hours. The second and most important con is the price. It is expensive. Even with the numerous size options and brewing styles the price tag just doesn’t match up for me. With that being said the Braun MultiServe Plus Drip Coffee Maker is a good addition to the coffee lovers home. It is simple in the best way. From unboxing, and brewing, to cleanup, this machine is easy to use. My husband and I both enjoy different coffee styles depending on the day and season. And we still get to brew a whole pot when we have guests. This is an all-in-one machine for us. Aside from the functionality, this Braun coffee maker is beautiful. The stainless steel matches the other appliances in our kitchen nicely. One of my favorite things about this coffee maker is that it comes with a replaceable filter that fits into the water tank. I am a stickler for clean water so this is a huge bonus for me. The filter also helps deter mineral buildup. Aside from the price and noisy beeps, the Braun MultiServe Plus Drip Coffee Maker is a win.

    This machine makes a very smooth cup of coffee. I noticed an improvement in taste and drinkability compared to my previous traditional coffee maker. Being able to make cold brew is great. It taste as good as my local coffee shop! Scheduling my morning coffee has never been easier. I wake up to my morning coffee ready thanks to the easy scheduling feature. Being able to fine tune your cup/mug size is really nice. I’m able to make a full pot of coffee, half a pot, or other mug sizes. Having the external water tank is very convenient. Being external, it lets me easily clean and refill the tank. A great feature is the dripstop function that keeps your warming plate clean.     The Braun MultiServe Plus is a huge coffee maker with multiple functions. I love that you can choose different size cups, bowls, or use the carafe. The ability to brew cold brew or over ice is very awesome and unique. It is a beautiful machine aesthetically. It’s very easy to fill using either the water container that is removable or the carafe and the water lines are clearly marked and accessible, it even comes with a water filter. Your brew time is incredibly fast and the flavor is amazing. We have always loved bold strong coffee. I love the tapered glass of the carafe and how nothing spills during pouring. Setup is very easy but you do have to read the directions. There are some little tips and tricks in there that you would not know otherwise. The digital display is large and clear and even tells you if you left the lid open. You don’t need to push hard on the touch panel to choose your options. I feel like I should give this coffee maker 3 stars based on all the negative things I found, but it does do what it says it’s supposed to do. So on that note, it deserves four stars. A few of the issues that I do have with this Braun coffee maker is the price for one. Unless this thing is going to do some amazing tricks I think I’m just paying for the brand name and not the functionality of the system, though it does have the cold brew option which might be harder to find on traditional coffee makers. There is no way to clean the carafe by hand. The hole at the neck is too small to get your hand in there. So you have to have special scrub brushes to be able to get down in there. It is a very large system that takes up a bit of counter space but everything on it is easily accessible. For such a large machine I’m very surprised that it only handles 10 cups and not more. There is no way on the version I purchased to adjust the temperature of the burner or the time that the burner stays active. It’s also not one button start in manual mode. You have to push the on-pad and then choose what type of coffee you want. I also noticed when refilling the container that there was a lot of residual water that had not been used during brewing left in the container.

    This Multiserve is hands-down the best unit I’ve owned. My husband and I love coffee, but we like a rich flavor without bitterness. Some of the coffee brands we’ve used for years have gone medium-dark roast, we like light-medium, but it’s hard to find. As a result, we’ve been adding more sweetener and milk to overcome that bitterness. To our delight, using the Gold setting the bitterness has been markedly reduced and resulted in a smoother cup which is much more enjoyable. While this unit is not specifically designed for tea, using the Bold setting to dispense hot water into a cup with a teabag on the special cup holder provided an easy single-serve Earl Grey. I love this coffee maker’s multifunctions which allow me to fill any level in the carafe, plus travel mug or single cup. I can eliminate my tea maker and get more counter space since this Braun will do all I need. It’s over 100 degrees outside now so I look forward to making iced coffee with it. It’s worth noting the directions and quick start guide are well-written and illustrated, so it’s easy to set up the functions. Almost all the components are dishwasher-safe, a big plus. The heating plate is adjustable which is nice to avoid burning coffee in the pot. I would most definitely recommend this coffeemaker.

    After doing some googling, I saw that Braun has a reputation for top-notch and high quality coffee makers. I decided to give the Braun MultiServe Plus Drip coffee maker a go, and I am very happy I did! It is a good looking appliance, stylish, sturdy and well built. It has 7 programmed brewing sizes as follows: 5oz, 8oz, 12oz, 16oz, 20oz, half carafe (25oz) or full carafe (50oz). A full carafe holds five 10oz cups of coffee, which is pretty standard. It can brew an entire carafe “in less than 8 minutes,” which I can verify is indeed true. I typically drink a 16oz mug of coffee every morning. Using the Gold option, my coffee comes out PERFECT. It tastes amazing, and the temperature is just right IMO (I have seen some reviews state it is not hot enough). It finished my 16oz mug in 3.5 minutes after hitting start. I have to note here, I wasn’t specifically looking for a coffee maker that makes cold brew coffee, but now that I have one, I am thrilled! I love it. It makes cold brew in less than 15 minutes. This would take FOREVER doing it other ways, so in the past I have rarely made it myself. I think this might be new favorite thing about this coffee maker, frankly. I have already used this feature several times, and I’ve only had the coffee maker about a week. Though I usually prefer freshly ground beans, I am happy to report that it is fully programmable. Using the Auto on function, you can set the machine to brew coffee up to 24 hours in advance, which is definitely useful for those days you know you are going to be in a hurry the next morning. You can also change the amount of time it keeps the carefe warm after coffee is made, from 15 minutes all the way up to 4 hours. The warmer turns on automatically if you select a half or a full carafe. You can also turn it off/on manually. I tested out the auto program to see how easy it was, and it worked perfectly, and was very simple. Finally, it has a 3 year warranty coverage to ensure lasting performance. This definitely gives me confidence that, unlike my last coffee maker brand that broke a month after 1 year warranty ended, this coffee maker is going to last me long time! Companies don’t offer 3 year warranties often, and when they do, it means the item is built to LAST. TLDR: I am enthusiastically satisfied with this coffee maker. It makes amazing coffee, easy and quick, has plenty of options, and is built to LAST. I have already recommended it to a few friends/family members.

    I waited a few weeks until I left a review, and by far the best coffee machine I have ever used. I do however wish there was in between sizes. Like say I want a little more then half a carafe and not quite a whole one. I would have to do half and a 16 oz or something which sort of defeats convenience. The overall coffee machine is incredible though. Hasn’t given my issues yet and the timer, warmer and everything runs so perfectly.     After using this coffee maker, I have been extremely impressed! The first notable feature I love about this product is its sleek, stainless steel design. This gives the coffee maker a very refined and elegant look. The next notable feature to point out about this coffee maker is its water reservoir size. The water reservoir holds a total of fifty ounces, allowing me to have ample amounts of coffee for guests. Another great feature about this coffee pot is all of the different brewing modes that are included. The “Cold Brew” mode is able to make the perfect cold brew beverage in just thirteen minutes. The machine practically does all of the work itself. The strength of the cold brew has also been fairly strong. The next mode on this coffee pot is the “Over Ice” mode. This mode helps to quickly brew a strong cup (or pot) of coffee over a cup of ice. Because of its strength however, the ice does not seem to water the coffee down. The next mode, which is perhaps my favorite, is the “Gold” mode. This is essentially the go-to mode for your perfect pot of coffee. I find this mode to be best for extracting the maximum amount of flavor from the coffee. Another convenient and notable feature worth pointing out is the auto on feature. This enables me to specify the specific time I want my coffee to brew. The system also has an auto off feature. An additional benefit to this machine is the ability to select a brew size. You can brew anything from five ounces up to fifty ounces. This is perfect for ensuring I brew just the right amount of coffee, while eliminating any wasted coffee. Finally, I have loved how the machine stops when I remove my coffee pot, preventing messes. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this coffee maker and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a truly customizable cup of coffee that’s sure to leave you feeling recharged.

    I just recently got into iced coffee and this machine is just perfect. I don’t have to have separate coffee makers for everything that I want to brew. This Braun Multiserve gives me all my options in one machine. You have the convenience of just brewing one cup at a time or just turning the dial and brewing a carafe. And I now have the choice of a cold brew. What could be better? It takes about 13 to 14 minutes for that cold brew and it taste great. The warm weather is here and I’m drinking a lot more iced coffee. Don’t get me wrong. I still like my hot coffee. This machine gives me options and how much I want to brew and how I want to brew. If I just want a cup or if I want more than a cup, I have that choice all on this one machine. I can use the carafe and still adjust how much coffee I want to make. I definitely appreciate that. The other thing I’m totally in love with is that this machine has enough space to accommodate my big travel mug. This is a game changer for me. I also like the fact that the parts are dishwasher safe, especially the carafe. I don’t run my dishwasher every day, so my only complaint is there’s no way to totally remove, the cover of the carafe to get your hand in there and clean it. All in all this is a great machine and it also has a three-year warranty.

    The Braun MultiServe Plus Drip Coffee Maker is a sleek, easy to set up and use coffee maker. When my box arrived and I opened the outer box, the coffee maker box was damaged. I was nervous that the machine would be damaged. Once opened and looked over; everything was there and no damage to the machine. I did a quick read over the instructions and ran it through the initial cycle to remove any dust and debris during packing and shipping. I liked how quick it was to set the time and all the buttons are straight forward. The water reservoir also has little imprints on it for a quick reference for making iced coffee, half or full pot. The scoop that was included also had imprinted references for how many scoops to what you want to make. Our first run of making coffee I added the 10 large scoops for a full pot. It seemed like a lot for me and yes it was extremely strong on gold setting. So that pot I ended up pouring over ice. Next pot I trimmed it down 2 scoops and I felt it was still a bit strong. I have finally balanced the scoops for our liking. The other reason I gave the coffee maker a 4 star was when I pull the carafe out after the done brewing beeps; the coffee seems to drip onto the hot plate while filling my cup. I now use the switch that is listed to use if using the cup option. Enjoying the coffee now that we have it figured out to how we like coffee. The coffee tastes smoother than our previous maker. The water reservoir holds 50 ounces of water which is great. The maker is simple to use and run time is quick. This coffee maker takes up a bit more space on my counter than my previous one. I am enjoying coffee to suit my mood and desire! This is also nice when entertaining or have guests that enjoy different varieties of coffee!

    The Braun MultiServe Plus Drip coffee maker is high end, super quality, that makes great tasting coffee that is simple to use. Out of the box with the quick start instructions that I barely needed, I was making coffee in no time! First I tried cold brew because it was the afternoon when it was delivered and I couldn’t wait to try it. The cold brew feature is new to me, thank wasn’t an option on my old coffee maker and I will now be drinking it everyday! So easy and delicious!!! YUM!!! I used the same coffee that I’ve always used cause you dont need pods or cups in this machine, which I am very thankful for, cause I like my coffee STRONG and you don’t get that when you use pods or cups. So anyway, somehow this machine took away ALL the bitterness and made my coffee even smoother… Loving it! The next morning I made my regular coffee on the BOLD setting and OMG so good! I’m not sure why or what this machine is doing differently than my old machine, but my coffee is soooooo smooth. The half pot feature is the PERFECT amount for me and kept the coffee nice and not while I drand my first cup!.

I usually make one cup at a time and it’s nice to be able to fill the resivour at the top of the day, vs having to fill exactly the amount for each cup (which has been required in other brands). And I’m especially excited to be able to also use this machine to easily brew iced coffee to have in the fridge, ready to drink on hot days. My only reason for taking off a star is that it does take up more counter space than I’d like. And I’d prefer a stainless steel carafe as I find glass ones usually break. I was tempted to take off another star for a strange phenomenon: when brewing is complete the amount in the cup is 1/2 the amount of brewing selection. I specifically measured the quantity of water my cup holds (12 oz) and the result was 1/2 full cup (6 oz). And this was using the Gold (not Bold) option. I decided to not knock off a star because this could allow me to brew espresso like drinks, ie., adding water for an Americano, or milk for a latte.

    As a coffee lover with multiple contraptions to make coffee, I can appreciate the Braun Multi Serve. Setting it up took a bit longer since I had to clean the parts, set the altitude (yes there’s an altitude setting), and install the charcoal filter. Once that was done, I moved on to the fun part, making coffee. While this coffee maker is quite large, it makes a surprisingly great cup of cold brew a lot faster than the conventional 24 hour method. This comes in handy on those warmer days when I want a cold brew and saves me a trip to the coffee shop or a long wait time to brew it. While the cold brew is slightly more acidic and not as smooth as my overnight method, it saves me a lot of time period the coffee options were stronger than expected, so I use less coffee grounds with over ice, gold, or bold modes. The taste was great once adjusted the amount of grounds used. This machine is pod free and while I prefer grounds due to the variety I buy, I had to sacrifice the convenience and easy clean up that pods have when you want a cup of coffee in a pinch. The Braun is an impressive coffee machine if you don’t mind the size and filter changes along with cleaning.

    This machine makes a very smooth cup of coffee. I noticed an improvement in taste and drinkability compared to my previous traditional coffee maker. Being able to make cold brew is great. It taste as good as my local coffee shop! Scheduling my morning coffee has never been easier. I wake up to my morning coffee ready thanks to the easy scheduling feature. Being able to fine tune your cup/mug size is really nice. I’m able to make a full pot of coffee, half a pot, or other mug sizes. Having the external water tank is very convenient. Being external, it lets me easily clean and refill the tank. A great feature is the dripstop function that keeps your warming plate clean. Overall I highly recommend this Braun MultiServe Plus Drip coffee system, it has all the great features any coffee drinker will enjoy.

    This coffee maker is awesome. I like that it has different options of how you want to make your coffee since there are different coffee drinkers in my home. You want you coffee hot or iced, you got it. I love that I can just brew one cup at a time for the freshest coffee and there is a cup holder so you can brew straight into your favorite mug. You have multiple guest or coffee drinkers, this coffee maker can take care of that too. You can do as little as a cup to a full carafe. This coffee maker also has a timer so your coffee can be ready when you are. It also comes with a little filter for the water, which I felt like it was a nice touch and doesn’t interfere with the flavor of your coffee. I highly recommend this coffee maker to anyone.

I have used a regular drip coffee pot, a pod single serve coffee maker and cold brew pitcher. I was very excited to combine all of the appliances into one! The Braun multiserve does the work of 3 items! Cold brew coffee finished. I prepared coffee per my preferences, sugar and milk. I then added 30% ice as recommended in the directions voilà! Refreshing, tasty, fast, satisfying cold brew coffee. The. time on the Braun multiserve coffee maker I started at 11:40am and finished completely at 12:02pm. It only took 22 minutes even with me providing you instructions. The instruction says it takes 13 minutes to make the cold brew. I am very excited that it was quick and Not 3 days like a cold brew pitcher. Yes, I recommend this product
