I believe this is the best one in the market, however it still has some room for improvement. The switch (red button) started malfunctioning after 5 years so I had to get a new one. Its lid is not necessary. Actually it is functioning much better without the lid.

This turkish coffee make is too large. No one makes this much Turkish or Greek coffee in one shot. I could be half the size and still be perfect. The cap is a bit flimsy and completely unnecessary.. they could just not include it. The bottom fits into the electric base, which presents a problem.. can you wash or clean the base with water? Or will that corrode the electrical parts.. I’m not sure… i mean when you’re done making the coffee you set it down on the counter and the base will eventually get wet or dirty..can you clean it? If so how? I don’t know.. It makes great coffee and very fast but .. i’m unsure.

I’m sooo confused. When I bought this (yesterday) I made two really nice coffee cups. I was impressed at the speed and efficiency of this product and I’m sure my greek family wouldn’t even be able to tell that I didn’t make this with a flame burner.
I turned it on today to make another coffee, it started rising a tiny bit so I lifted it up slightly to make the foam like I did yesterday…the device turned off even though it didn’t yesterday and the coffee was ruined because it never finished the making process… I tried it again, this time it didn’t even get to the point where there are ANY bubbles so again the coffee wasn’t ready and the machine was already off.
I dont understand what changed but it’s very frustrating that I have to return it.

This Turkish coffee-maker keeps breaking regularly even if I’m just making Turkish coffee. It breaks immediately if I’m making anything else, even just heating some soy milk, and that, even though there is no exposed element on the bottom. I liked the design, and most similar models are made for European electricity while this one is for North America, so I bought it repeatedly, but I won’t any more.

This product stopped working after only 4 uses. Thankfully, it was still within the return period. I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews stating that others experienced the same problem after only a few uses. I would also note the following: (1) the pot is HUGE and not really appropriate for making one or two cups of Greek/Turkish coffee; (2) the water boils MUCH too fast (properly making this type of coffee requires bringing the water to a slow boil so that the foam is created); (3) the too fast boil gives the coffee a weak flavor; and (4) the pot itself is not fluted to narrow at the top (as with a traditional briki). This also adversely affects the “cooking” process and limits the production of the foam on top. I have a Beko automatic Turkish coffee maker at my home in Greece and at my office here in the USA. Each unit I own produces perfect Turkish coffee in under three minutes with good foam. Those units cost approximately $170.00 US dollars. I was trying to save money by purchasing this unit. I was wrong. You get what you pay for………..

Perfect for Turkish Coffee! Instead of other Turkish brands ( which have narrow lid), wide area makes your coffee with amazing sparkling. You can have 6-8 small Turkish coffee cups.
In video; I put very few coffee for a cup that I can drink more coffee in a day.
Update: yes unfortunately stopped working after 3 months, Customer service was helpful, but sending CA for repair costs $15 and receiving back $15 does not seem reasonable for me. Waiting in my kitchen 🙁

I love a good cup of turkish coffee in the morning. !! I used the old method over the stove and it was fine , then i bought an expensive ($140) automatic one online which worked well for a while but if you dont position the cup exactly on the cradle , it never worked right. it was much too precision with a few trial and errors until i lost patience with it. , and it took over 10 minutes till i got the coffee right …
so i decided to try this one from Brentwood. for a few dollars. it works great , fast, and the coffee is super great!. the only thing I suggest is one must stand and watch the water and coffee boil then pour it in your cup. once its in your cup drop a few drops of cold water in the made coffee. the grinds will drop to the bottom of the cup. from strart to finish , it takes less than 2 minutes and your coffee is made and delicious.
