I’ve used a couple pour overs now, I find that with all of them they can be fragile so be mindful and use with caution other than that it’s a pour over…. It’s straight forward on how to use it I like the “beaker” look so for me it’s appealing! If I could change one thing, it’d have to be stove top compatible just at low temps to keep my coffee warm.

Makes coffee just as well as my standard Chemex. It seems a little lighter, maybe thinner glass and a flatter bottom. The rubber grip comes off easily for cleaning which is nice. It comes with a metal filter which was not fine enough and left the coffee with grounds in it, although the instructions say that is for pre-ground coffee which might work better. It also comes with paper filters which work well. One flaw with this is the pour spout is very small and not a long channel like on the Chemex, so when you go to pour out the water after you rinse the filter it is hard not to make a mess.

I won’t go back to an electric drip coffee maker ever again. The flavor with this pourover is phenomenal. Very easy to use, but takes patience first thing in the morning to let it finish brewing. I recommend buying an electric gooseneck kettle with this. Once you taste the difference it’s all worth it!

I wanted to try a Pour over coffee because every coffee shop is selling it. I was very pleased with how wonderful my coffee tasted. I used a kettle to pour the warm water over the coffee and the coffee was great, bold, and perfect. If you are wanting to make Pour over Coffee at home I would highly recommend this product. The price is very reasonable and the product is great.

Pretty sturdy glasses and paper filter is very thick and gives you very clean coffee. It has bo coffee grind residues in your dripped coffee. It comes with 10 filters and when I was out and couldn’t find the filter from the same company I began using the metal filter, I didn’t get the same result. I bought Chemex paper filter large and it was perfect.

I bought this for a more modern look compared to the classic Chemex and I love the styling and the black sleeve. But upon using it a few times its lacking some functionality that is annoying. Because it doesn’t ave a channel running down the neck into the vessel there is no way for the air to escape as it starts to fill up. This causes air to bubble out between the filter and the glass and splatter hot coffee. Also, because the class is not tempered, I cannot reheat the coffee by placing the Brim on on the element of my glass stove top. Honestly I think I’ll go back to the Chemex, which is a shame because I love the look of this product.
