   We are using a cuisinart thermal craft. The bunn thermal craft does not keep coffee hot at all!!!! It might work if there was a warmer. Very disappointed!!!

   This is my second Bunn machine and it is so nice to have fresh coffee in the morning in under 3 minutes, with your eyes closed. My first machine lasted 10 years but because of the very hard water in my city the lines filled up with calcium that I couldn’t get cleaned out of the sealed water tank and caused it to leak. Otherwise it still worked but after 10 years it needed to be replaced. I hope the new one lasts as long as I’m sure it will. I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone who likes fast, tasty coffee!

   Received this yesterday unpacked it last night and primed the water reservoir. This morning plugged it in, let it warm up, added grounds to the filter, poured in the water and presto, 4 minutes later fresh, hot strong, coffee. Worth every penny spent.

   Shout out to Office Chase Corp for getting this to us in great shape and quickly. They also sent an email to make sure it arrived well. Thank you.

   Real good coffee maker. Assembled in the USA!

   I also picked up 2000 Bunn coffee filters for 45 bucks. Don’t need to worry about that for a while.

   Brews really good coffee and quickly, and I’m using cheap coffee with it instead of my old expensive fresh ground. The metal carafe keeps coffee hot for hours, especially if you spend the 30 seconds to preheat the pot (I typically only do this on my second pot of coffee as we consume the first pot quickly).

   If you use filtered water, or soft water, go to the Bunn website and request the Flow Restrictor Sprayheads. It will take your brew time from 3 minutes to about 5 minutes, but will help keep the coffee grounds from overflowing. Bunn sends these to you for free, and quickly.

   Excellent coffee. I live at 5280 feet elevation. At high altitudes, most coffee makers fail to brew at the ideal temperature (200 deg F). This unit reaches the critical temperature and makes excellent coffee. Use Bunn filters only as the others are too short and overflow. The thermal pot is excellent. The issues with dripping were solved many years ago.

   On the weekends, when I have lots of time I remove the basket, insert my Chemex (40 oz) with Chemex filters, and brew classic coffee. In some ways its better (really tasty), in some it isn’t (hassle and cooler drinking temp). That said, in many ways the straight Bunn setup is just as good.

   This unit is made in Creston, IA which is a plus in my book.

    Very disappointed. 2 Major flaws with this unit that I hope will get addressed when I call customer service: 1. Coffee is not hot enough. 2. The basket overflows on nearly every brew creating a huge mess. I’ve tried using different grind sizes and I definitely use the Bunn filters that came with the unit. The coffee does taste very good. And, it brews very fast. However, despite these benefits, it’s no fun taking 15 minutes to clean up a mess from a 3 minute brew cycle– especially when I haven’t yet had my morning coffee. I’ve invented swear words. And, as great as the coffee tastes, I’m drinking a lukewarm mug by the time I get mid way through it. I really, really wanted to like this brewer, and be a “proud Bunn owner.” I will update after my experience with the Bunn customer service.

    This is my 3rd bunn BTX-B(D). It brews fast 3 minutes or under. They last a long time. No warmer needed, so you don’t have to worry about turning one off. Great coffee. Made well, though I did notice the filter basket is a little flimsy compared to earlier models. I have also purchased 2 as gifts for other people. Bunn makes a high altitude model which is great because we live at 7000 ft. Got it for an affordable price. Will continue to purchase this model as long as available. Arrived promptly and in excellent condition.

    We have had BUNS for years and never had a complaint. When our last one finally wouldn’t make the great coffee it had done for many years, we bought the same model, but it doesn’t keep the coffee warm for ANY period of time. SAD.
